Did you even look at the pictures of the shitholes for sale at that price point?
The blue book value of my 15 year old Fusion has climbed significantly since January. Almost back to what I paid for it 5 years ago... Absurd.
Any epidemiologist will tell you a vaccine that is only 50% effective would be huge right now. Granted, we want 100%, but in many areas, we’ve managed to knock the disease back already with just distancing and masks. My county has seen a nearly 2/3 drop in cases since the introduction of mask mandates, and we were…
UV and heat.
Only car I’ve ever had any sort of headliner issue on is my current 06 Fusion. It was just a small bit of glue failure, easily repaired. Also was entirely limited to the portion that was exposed to direct sun day in, day out, for 9 years as the vehicle sat largely unused in the same assigned spot in the…
With multiple vaccines in phase 3 studies, none of which are showing negative side effects, and all of which are producing strong immune responses, its closer than you think.
We’re already paying for production of these prior to approval to speed rollout if one is approved (literally the ONLY thing the trump…
The vaccines advancing through all the trials are based off of many years of work already. Most are based directly off of vaccines developed for SARS and MERS but where clinical trials never finished. Both those use the same basic attack mechanism of COVID, so it isn’t so much of a case of developing a new vaccine,…
What you aren’t being told, however, is that the vaccines advancing through all the trials are based off of many years of work already. Most are based directly off of vaccines developed for SARS and MERS but where clinical trials never finished. Both those use the same basic attack mechanism of COVID, so it isn’t so…
Why, exactly, is in “insane and unrealistic” that we’ll have a vaccine?
1) “Magical vaccine”? I volunteered for two different trials (neither has called my number yet, so no worries that I’m not aware you can only do 1), so I’ve been tracking the results as they come along. I’m very confident we’ll have a working, approved vaccine in the next several months.
“There are more rich Democrats that are richer than most rich Republicans in Congress.”
Are you so sure about that?
I am tall. But even with a short driver in the driver’s seat, there is practically no room in the backseat for my 10 year old.
The Escape has just miserable space compared to a Fusion. If you want comparable, you have to go up to the Edge.
Ford Fusion front legroom: 44.3"
Ford Fusion rear legroom: 38.3"
Ford Fusion cargo space: 16 cu. ft.
Ford Escape front legroom: 42.4"
Ford Escape rear legroom: 38.9"
Ford Escape cargo space: 34.4 cu. ft.
There’s more legroom in the Fusion - by 1.3" combined. When I sit in the front seat of a Fusion and adjust it to be…
Because a large chunk of people on here would use that to remind people it was made in Mexico, somehow was unAmerican, and demonstrate they had no comprehension of international trade...

Escape is tiny inside compared to the Fusion...
You should try our local Honda dealer. Incompetence galore. Charged my manager $3000 for suspension repairs that didn’t fix anything, and of course no refunds for the bad diagnosis. I gave him the name of my mechanic - he went there and it was fixed in half a day for a grand total of $112.
I agree.
And I’m also annoyed... because the Fusion name is expected to be reborn as an Outback fighter. The Mondeo wagon is a damned good looking car. Will they give us that? No. Will they at least just give us that, lifted by an inch or two and called a “crossover”? No. They’re jacking the thing up so the…
Is there a point you’re trying to make?
I’ll mourn the Fusion. Mine is a damned good car, even at 15 years old.
I’ve had the last generation as a rental, and it was a damned good car, too. I’ve managed 40+ mpg up and down mountain roads in one. Between the Camry, Altima, and Sonata rentals, the Fusion was by far my favorite.
