Hmmmmm.... I have been very critical of the Ipad up until now... Looking at some of these shots I might have to reconsider.

I LOOOOVE the fact that they put Mario World on there instead of Mario 64... I know everyone loved that game and it DID redefine what platformers could be, but Mario World still is the best, imo....

This will be GOTY. I'd bet some cash on it.

@unruly: See... I usually only have time to play during the morning and early afternoon, so I haven't had a single problem with my BC2 or 1943.... except when the servers went down for a couple hours one day.

Nice.... the only thing I would change is to put a cowboy hat on him and have him looking out from under it... this is nice too, but doesn't scream "western" to me... not that I care, this is my most anticipated game ever as it is, so....

@Revenge_of_Nekojin: Well not after I logged about 200 games on it and then picked up Bad Company 2... probably not. 3 maps can take you only so far.

If I had known that this was essentially what 1943 was then I probably wouldn't have dropped 15 bones on it... I was under the impression there would be DLC maps for it in the future, but it was actually just a commercial advertising the new engine for Bad Company 2... which I bought, but that's not the point, lol...…

@PookandPie: I meant the lead guy developing FFXIII, I know the original guy had nothing to do with it.

Attention Final Fantasy creator: LISTEN to these people!!!!! It IS possible to tell a compelling story in a western style open world RPG!!!!

Rail shooters are the absolute worst kind of game..... 2-d games can be great, though... Shadow Complex was one of the best games from last year, downloadable or not.... So I don't know what this guy's talking about. I'm not too concerned about the 3-d perspective being anchored to the ground, as that seems to tell me…

It all boils down to the fact that competition between EA and THQ is a good thing for us consumers.
