I hate to admit it but I agree! It’s the first I’ve WANTED since the SC300/400.

    Senator Sanders, is that you?

I also suggested these! My S60R has the best seats on earth. For a long highway drive I’d choose them over the comp package seats in my M3!

Volvo S60R seats. They’re amazingly comfortable but also well-bolstered.

It’s splitting hairs at this price point (referring to my own comment) but I still think it’s kind of plastic-heavy. It’s also very blocky and that logo in the steering wheel is enormous.

I’ve been in the GS F sport and several other Lexuses. I’m always amazed at the amount of plastic (albeit good plastic) that’s in these things. Of all the cars you’d listed I’d put it on par with the Giulia (which is, combined with no manual, the reason I didn’t buy it) and slightly below the ATS. The ATS was let down

No idea how that Lexus stacks up, but the ATS-V made me pause when shopping for my M3. I got the M3 and love it (manual comp package) but DAMN even without the money GM was throwing on the hood the ATS-V is an extremely compelling performance car. It’s also more comfortable than my BMW. It’s the real deal and I came

Amen. I respect the ZL-1 but it’s the overall experience that matters to me. i didn’t cross-shop a Camaro when I bought my M3 Competition Package. I did cross-shop the ATS-V which shows that GM is doing something right!

I get (and respect) the Camaro’s performance in ZL-1 Spec. It’s probably in many ways better than my M3 Competition. It just doesn’t really compete with these kinds of cars though because, as good as it is, the interior and overall experience is still a letdown. This buyer is shopping for a little refinement along

I’m biased but the M3/4 will still look handsome 10 years on. This...not so much.

That interior looks pretty cheap honestly. That steering wheel with the oversized logo is also pretty cheesy. This just doesn’t really make the grade. I cross-shopped the M3, ATS-V, and Alfa Giulia QF. This didn’t make the list since it’s not as focused as any of them. Honestly I’d rather have (as odd as this sounds)

Hilarious. Here’s a low mileage VR-4 by me for $18k on Craigslist:

World’s greatest businessman how? He’s a joke in the real estate industry. Look up the size of his actual portfolio — which isn’t comprised of what he sticks his brand on. There are plenty of real estate firms out there that generate real returns for investors, not just an ego boost for a fraud.

Million bimmer drive on Washington? I live here now and half are probably already in traffic every day anyway!

Which one did you buy? What is your point of comparison?

Volvo S60R (my winter driver): 300 horses, manual, and AWD. Also under $14k for a great example AND a maintenance budget.

No — I had an M235i and LOVED it. Its replacement is an M3 competition. The M2 was also on my list. You won’t be disappointed. Yes the magic is gone from their more workaday cars, but the M2 is still excellent.

Sorry: you’re just not correct on this. I cross shopped the M3 Comp, ATS-V, and the Giulia Quadrifoglio and guess which interior was the worst? No — not the GM car! It was the Alfa which showed way too much Chrysler in the whole Fiat-Chrysler match up. It felt like an upscale Challenger/Charger vs a $70k+ sports

I was looking at both (Quadrifoglio and M3 competition). Yes, the Alfa is amazing, but quality worries and a honestly not-very-impressive interior swayed me back to Bavaria. I also have an E46 (favorite era of BMW) and had an E30 and agree that BMW is going downhill overall, but the M3 (competition package at

Can’t lie — that was epic!
