Corvette hits mustang. BBQ involved. ‘Murica!

It's because of attitudes like yours that I don't have one. I pre-ordered an R and when it came I hated it. Too heavy and numb next to my GTI. Didn't take delivery and bought a GTI instead off the lot to keep for a year until the M235i was out. And guess what? Most BMW dealers only have one of those and I got an

I went from two GTIs in a row to three Bimmers. You'll never regret it and they do treat you way better.

A Volvo dealer did this to me with a V60 T6 R-Design with the polestar chip. I calmly walked next door and went ahead with my purchase of a BMW M235i and later a 3 series wagon. Way to lose business...

Why do M-Parallels look SO good on even older BMWs?

It's coming as soon as I'm moved into the new place!

Agreed that most of this segment is bad/bland. That said, if VW can make the GTI look nice at the same price point, GM should follow suit. Also, for $30k you can get into a much nicer Volvo S60 — similar price range. Same with an Audi A3. This will ultimately price into that range. Below it the Mazda 3 and at the same

And you sold me one of those BMWs so I know you agree with me on that. ;)

Not quite. I agree that the GM interiors are getting better but there’s still that annoying feel of “built to a cost” vs “built to a standard.” And yes — you can even see that from pictures. I will say that we rented a Cruze recently and I thought the LTZ interior was very nice, better even than the ATS! So maybe

Agreed. I have 3 BMWs — an ‘87 325is, ‘03 325iT, and ‘14 M235i and the worst interior of any I’ve ever sat in was my loaner 328i. What a piece of garbage for the sticker price. Very disappointing and worse than any of mine by a long shot despite being the newest. BMW’s game is slipping...

It’s such garbage. Really. My daily driver 2003 325iT has a gray interior and it manages to look good! And it’s 12 years old!!

    Atacama is the only answer!

I wanted one of these really badly for a long time. I finally decided to pull the trigger as a winter counterpart to my M235i. Boy was I disappointed when I test drove one. Maybe it was the example I was looking at, but it just wasn't an impressive car (at least to me). The handling was pretty numb in any setting

Just bought one — just a hair over the price target too. 2003 (E46) 325iT. Rear wheel drive (rare) and the sport package make it quite a balanced little handler and daily driver. Here she is with my M235i. I really couldn't be happier and I feel like I have my own personal unicorn!

NP for what it is, but I like my long roofs small, low, and stiff, not to mention from a different part of Germany!

Awesome! It's a steampunk Aston Martin. It's also the first thing they've made in years with real class.

Am I crazy for thinking that this would look cool in matte black with some miniguns slung?

This is what the NSX should have been...

I agree on the E9X. I love the cars and have a good amount of seat time in them. That steering really tries to be heavy for the sake of perceived sportiness.

While I'm sure the 1M is amazing and knife-edged I'm with you on this. Its cult status seems a little ridiculous and you could just get an E46 m3 competition package and be 8/10ths of that for 5/10ths the price.
