Those huge premiums for the RS were always going to be stupid in hindsight...the car that will replace it in another 18-24 months will be better, and come with a manual...these morons paying sometimes as much as 350k for a second-hand 991.1 RS were truly outside of their minds.

Judging on the comments here, I don’t think you or most of the people on this site know what this word means...it means “cut” - can refer to the roofline or the length of the body. It’s been used both ways for many, many years. Get over it.

What are you talking about...

Why don’t you guys read the damn definition of the word “coupe” - it literally means “cut” - as in the roofline. And it was used as such for many, many years before somehow everyone decided that it meant strictly 2 door cars for a couple decades. This whole non-funny joke is getting rather tiresome.

...have you seen an eye doctor lately?

Why would you spend a lot of money to make it worse.

I mean they’d modifying the car for more power. This car turns traction control off in the most aggressive driving mode. Not really avoidable.

I mean, what’s excessive. That’s what they charge for it. It is very expensive and I’m sure there’s a decent margin built into that price. But there’s not really any other choice. This was likely a $185k car new.

...you don’t want the car to be test-driven after the modifications are installed? That’s ridiculous.

...how in any way would it be that. The GT shares nothing with the E-Class....

...it is quite literally not.

Who is trying to four seat everything. Why are you mad.

That’s a good one

So you’re a child, is what you’re saying...

...is this a serious question?

F40's ancient electronics have no bearing on this. Also they are tracked very closely. Doubt anyone would ever get away with this.

When you’re buying an expensive semi-exotic car, you’re not doing it to be practical.

Most people would agree the GT is a gorgeous car. Manual gearbox isn’t even worth bringing up - many cars worth buying for years now haven’t had them as an option, time to move on. In terms of the turbos...what could you possibly have against this idea? It allows for more power, less lag, better power/torque

Very much a different segment....the CLS is just a tweaked E Class....this would obviously not be.

That’s the entire history of the world. Get used to it.
