What you don’t get is that most people don’t give a shit...you’re writing like you’re trying to convince someone that 2+2=4. What you’re really on about is something subjective and emotional. Not everyone will agree with you, simple as that. I drive a pretty visceral car, but I have driven a P90D and it was plenty

So...tweak this stupid hypothetical until the Tesla loses, then claim it’s inferior?Doesn’t make much sense.

Lol unless you want to stretch to about 100 runs or more, no chance of the battery dying.

Perhaps you should do a bit of reading. The owner reports (and this seems consistent with what you’d expect” that the car uses a net .5 kWh on every trip down the strip. It has an 85 kWh batter. They make them with up to 100 kWh batteries. You do the math.

Christ what an unpleasant thing to say. Why so rude.

You may not be aware but exhaust tips get very hot...

I mean, it’s not....

That’s at least 95% of the US population...guess no one should ever buy a car.

That’s actually not true at all...there’s no basis for that...all items have service lives...they don’t magically know how many miles your car has and start breaking more often over time.

Are you being serious? Are you assuming parts can only be replaced once, ever?

It hasn’t, so that’s a non-issue.

The car has an excellent service history, and at 590k it quite obviously has had most wear items replaced.

That’s like asking “how much does a house cost”

You’re assuming nothing has ever been replaced ever, which is quite certainly not true. The car has an extremely well-documented and meticulous service history.

Thank you

Like what...what could possibly need to be replaced that would be so horrible it would make this car a bad deal?

This car has the original unibody, probably most of the same body panels, original paint, engine, tranny, interior. What more do you want.

You clearly do not understand cars or statistics at all if that’s what you’re seeing here.

The mistake is thinking that all these things need to be run by gov’t or by single-company large monopolies. That’s your first mistake.

But having private companies compete to do a better job would just be the worst, right? I’m certain that’s not something any of you would ever entertain...
