Very, very few cars suffered from cam issues. A 997 Turbo is about as bulletproof as a performance car can be. Also stiffer, better-handling than a 996. AWD system is light years better. Engine is also much more powerful. 996 Turbo is a great car, but the 997 is a big step up, as all 997s are from the 996.
