Or, you know, people could follow instructions and stop being stupid. Why don’t we demand that?

If you really think maintenance on any E36 M3 is “ridiculously expensive” you perhaps shouldn’t be a car enthusiast. I really don’t get why everyone on this site that claims to love performance & enthusiast vehicles also can’t stand the idea of maintenance costs above that of an entry level economy car. That, to me is

I promise you any car with an N54 is light years faster than anything with an M52.

It’s not just de-tuned, at all. The entire driveline is different, and not nearly as good.

Lol you called an E46 “bloated” - Jesus Christ, so many of you just don't even seem to understand how insane and ridiculous you sound. Go back to driving your diesel manual brown hatchback.

Not sure what “character” you’re referring to...usually coded phrasing for “I like the old one because it’s of my time” - the E46 M3 has far more character than any E36 M3. It’s got a higher-revving, more powerful version of pretty much the same engine, has a vastly better interior, better suspension, better brakes,

The E36, I think, is pretty much the “worst” car BMW has made...probably the cheapest-feeling interior relative to the time, and one of the uglier cars they have made too.

Well, yes it is. Driving stoplight to stoplight in a manual gearbox is tiring and annoying. It’s not hard but it’s certainly not pleasant. The time it matters the most *is* on those back roads.

I’ve enjoyed myself far more driving automatic AMGs than my old, slow, beater E28 with a manual gearbox.

I’m quite certain the 0-250 time in the Chiron is plenty sufficient for you and anyone else in the world buying a factory stock warrantied car.

How is it terrible? You don’t even know how much it costs. And anyone buying can afford it easily.

What? They consistently design the most efficient and stable software/hardware available. Take your anti-apple glasses off for just one minute a day, your life will improve.

Pretty sure you or I or anyone who isn’t actually working on this project has nothing valuable to add. They know a thing or two about product development, probably more than you do.

It’s more powerful, won’t need to have the user manually clear the system or app cache constantly just to make it work properly, has a secure App Store, and will get OS updates for years and years.

You’ll be saying goodbye to that 3.5mm jack on most Android devices over the next couple years. Motorola has already done it.

...uh...yes it does...have you ever used an iPhone before?

I’ve never been in a car with a USB sync port that couldn't recognize music on an iPhone or iPod.

What? It’s got numerous upgrades over the 6S, several of which would be very useful to me. I’m getting one for that reason.

6S camera was already every bit as good as the competition, and the camera is hardly the only change being made here.

The 7 is about 2.5x as powerful as your 6, has double the RAM (triple if you get the Plus), double the storage at each price point, a better camera, is water resistant, has a better display, a better home button, is more attractive, has stereo speakers, and better front-facing camera. How is that not compelling?
