BMWs have either iDrive or no iDrive...there’s nothing in between. iDrive is well worth the added cost, it’s bundled with quite a few extra useful features for the 2k or 2500 it costs to add.

Nope, infotainment systems are integrated. If you don’t get nav, you’re not getting any of it. There’s nothing to “unlock”...it’s all hardware.
