The regular ATS leaves a lot to be desired inside

First of all, those engines are very under-rated. Real numbers are more like 650-670 hp, and over 800 torque.

Yeah, well, this is a luxury car, when I buy a 200-300k ultra-luxury car, I don’t want to hear all the weird, ugly noises that come from under the hood, just the pure engine note. They all pop off real quick. And that engine cover is real carbon fiber.

I don’t think you get the point of these cars, at all.

Why? It’s worse in every way.

Have you heard a modern engine? The injectors are basically the loudest sound at idle for many of them.

These are people that think the pinnacle of automative design is an old Miata, they don’t understand what luxury cars are about.

They are, takes literally no time at all. Would be moronic of them to design in such a way that the dealership would have to spend too much time on it.

Uh...lol...this is a car that costs as much a house. It’s not for “regular folks”...and all those plastic panels come off in about 3.4 minutes....really not a big deal if you’re so inclined.

The newer ones aren’t that bad. Anyone buying one should know what they’re getting into.

That would be very silly, as the stock engine is more powerful and is much easier to tune...that would be actually borderline stupid.

50k and you can’t afford 350 a month for a decent car that you get enjoyment from? What the hell do you spend all your money on? 50k pre tax in most places is still like 3500 a month post tax, maybe more in some. So 10% or less of your income, post tax. Seems like a price I’d be willing to pay for a decent car.
