I was telling someone about this last month and they kept insisting that it must’ve been a dream I had and couldn’t be real. It was one of those outdoors-without-phone-service days where I couldn’t prove it. They were so confident that I was wrong that I began to doubt myself a little. This’ll show the bastard.

They just wanted to make sure that the pay went to the Hollandest.

“Dry hair is for squids!”

It was a little earlier, I think, but I always loved Mr. Wizard, too. Lot more science shows when we were kids.

Emma Stone is just like some different type of human. Some kind of hyper-motivated future mutant who branched off the genetic tree a hundred years early. It makes her fascinating, alluring, and a little frightening.

He and Tim Roth were the only people involved who seemed like they actually wanted to be there. So, naturally, they are the best parts of it. Beyond that, the only thing memorable was Ape Lincoln.

Holy shit, I don’t think I’ve seen or heard anyone even reference “Beakman’s World” since it was actively on the air. Man, I haven’t flashbacked this hard since someone reminded me that Ben Vereen was on “Zubilee Zoo”. My memories of childhood are so murky that I worry that I’ve blocked out massive amounts of abuse.

Gotcha. I’m not either. I’m probably just a little obtuse today. The joke and the misunderstanding seemed equally probable.

I can’t tell if you’re joking or not. Both the actors have the surname Cox.

Two of the most interesting wins won’t even be in the televised ceremony. Can’t imagine why the viewership has fallen so low.

I bet you a million dollars that he isn’t drinking from his little I-am-so-eccentric-and-cute-metaphor-cup in the interview.

“Quit it now”

Nolan is an unquestionably great filmmaker, but he always seems semi-unplugged from pop culture. Beyond that, yeah, Alan Miller is actually responsible for most of what he’s crediting Snyder for here, he’s also overlooking about a half-dozen X-Men films that definitely preceded Watchmen with the “idea of a superhero

My favorite part is that he is a forensic pathologist with zero interest in evidence from his mother’s murder. It never crosses his mind for a second. He just keeps that tomato soup plan firmly fixed in his sights and doesn’t ever even drift from that position.

Just watched the new “For All Mankind” and you were so right. That was one of the best needle-drops ever.

You are not. I think that this new trend is really gross and it’s a definite lowering of the bar for the privacy of known artists. I mean, maybe if foul play were suspected or something, but this is just too much. Unless the family wanted it released for some reason, then these kinds of details are just none of our

Yikes. Yeah, that doesn’t sound good. I’m not even sure that this one is actually even evidence of abuse. Just kind of evidence that he’s a pretentious, deeply conceited, micro-managing boyfriend. Still, though, this sounds like a miserable relationship even before you get to the abuse. She is well rid of this dude.

No! Shit, man. So many of my favorite character actors keep dropping out of nowhere. He was always so strong in everything. Seemed almost ageless. Damn, this is really shitty. RIP.

I like that Mischa Collins’ reaction was just, ‘That’s too many heart attacks. Get over yourself.’.

Yeah, I’m actually watching the doc right now and it’s good but the biggest disappointment for me has been that they don’t spend more than a single line of praise on his Mosquito Coast performance. Really a shame. I still think it’s his best, most complex role.
