Why can’t they just modify the layout of the Long Beach street track (it’s too short for F1) and update it to FIA standards? There’s a huge market for racing in SoCal and Long Beach/LA already have the infrastructure in place. The IndyCar race there is already very popular and I think an F1 race would be even bigger.

This movie series needs to die away already.

I understand what you’re saying and I totally support it, however NBC Sports used to do a variation of this during the race broadcast (!!!) and it used to bother me a lot -- especially because coverage was already limited due to commercials. I’m very thankful that ESPN broadcasts the Sky coverage commercial-free and I

I’m not a fan of Hyundai’s current grilles - they just look off to me. This car looks like it’s aimed at people in their 50's and older. It has an awkward design to it (IMO).

Do these drops in profits, and quarterly losses remind anyone of the great recession? These same patterns happened before the recession hit, and then boom!

2nd: Companies need to learn that they can’t keep jacking up prices to make up for profit when wages have remained flat over the years. There’s going to come a point in time when people literally can’t afford what used to be an affordable car. Just look at Apple and the iPhone Xs.

There is absolutely nothing special about this car. It actually has more downsides than positives. It’s a freaking yacht and it’s generic looking. Hard pass.

There are 5 compounds so why can’t they just designate the middle compound as the medium and work up/down from that? One level down is soft, one level down from that is supersoft. One level up is hard, one level above that is super hard. It’s not as confusing as having 4 variations of soft and you know at all times

I haven’t said this about a concept/almost production-ready car in a long time but this car looks damn good — especially since it’s an Audi. Their designs have been super boring the last few years. I’m in love with the wheels too.

Loss of MT means the 3 series loses one of it’s most distinguishable features and now it joins to sea of other luxury sedans. Honestly, all these cars are converging towards one formula and its quite horrible. They’re all appliances now. It’s like walking into a washer/dryer section of Home Depot.

Tom, I’m wondering if you have a list of dealerships that you’ve blacklisted and won’t even consider buying a car from because of horrible past experiences?

What about an increase in the gas guzzler tax? If CA loses it’s ability to set its own emissions standards, could they impose a significantly higher gas guzzler tax at the time of purchase for vehicles that exceed a certain MPG? This would deter people from buying low emissions cars and it wouldn’t punish those at the

Shout out to HaasF1 since this is their home race! Good luck this weekend!

I think the model year is the keyword here. Rangers are going to be the talk of the town once the new model comes. They’ll probably release a raptor variant in the future once the hoopla dies down.

On a related note, can a dealer knowingly sell you a car with open recalls? Are there protections against this? I think there are for rentals.

It looks like I’m definitely in the minority here, but I like sport-packaged cars. I’m not kidding myself into thinking that these cars are true M, AMG, RS, V, F, etc.. cars, but I like them because they look better in general. The wheels are large, but they’re more proportionate to the large wheel wells, and I tend

I don’t understand why automakers want less stringent standards. Aren’t the CA standards/current Federal standards pretty close to those of the European ones? Even if CA were to lose its federal waiver, these manufacturers would still have to meet the Euro standards which in turn forces them to make more than one

Excellent pictures! Thank you for sharing. I’m a Le Mans fan and I love getting to experience it through a photographer’s lens.

This is actually a very very nice concept. All the little touches they made really set it off. Porsche should put this into production.

I thought the Z4 was heavily rumored to come with an MT? Is the “zf-only” comment specific to the UK market? Could it be different for the US model?
