I didn’t care for the series adaptation. Some of it was spot-on, but most of the changes ruined the series for me. Instead of buying the series, I recommend buying and reading the book, which is a much better investment, IMHO.
I thoroughly hope Ncuti Gatwa shoots that shit down.
Who’s to say what prompted his decision
Jason being one note was a boon to the show. Being any more nuanced would have distracted from everything else. The show already had enough trouble managing three groups over three separate locations and introducing a number of new characters across them. He didn’t need to be any more than what he was.
