This is as good a week place as any to leave this. I’ve been reading the AV Club for close to ten years. This new site is a travesty. I may return if things improve but for now, farewell.

Is it seriously so hard to put the grade in the header image for the new reviews?

same. I’m no stranger to kinja - Io9 is one of my favorite sites but what I loved about AV Club is gone.

I find that it makes me value their content less too. They are still writing at a level of quality that is far and away above the rest of the Gawker-corpse collective they’ve been lumped in with, but because it’s jammed awkwardly into this hideously unprofessional layout, I’m finding that my mind is just not absorbing…

I loved Roanoke, thought it was the first season since Asylum to pretty much stay strong all the way through. But this was the worst premiere they’ve ever done. Really? I actually thought Roanoke was the best season they’ve done since Asylum. They actually stuck to some rules and plot and in parts, was somewhat scary.

I have seen many people wrongly shorten it to “Poly-Sci.” Usually, they are artsy types or engineers.
