Really? I’m 6’1” and with the driver seat in my position I can sit in the back seat of my wife’s 2020 Bolt and have a ton of room. Heck, I can even cross my legs with one foot on the other knee. It has a ton of room back there, although the seat itself isn’t great and no cup holders unless you buy the Premium is a

The Bolt was originally marketed as a crossover. It has an upright high seating position with a ton of head and legroom, always has. This is just longer. My wife has a 2020 Bolt, and the seating position is about the same as my 2016 RAV4. I still wouldn’t call it a crossover (either of them, actually), more of a tall

Perfect example of what is wrong with society. No where was fossil fuel subsidies mentioned. No slippery slope, nothing. Simply that the government should not be subsidizing buying new cars.

You missed that I said that there should be no credit, and only if it has to continue it should have an income cap. We shouldn’t be subsidizing either EV or oil.

Bullshit. The government shouldn’t be subsidizing people buying new cars, and if they are the cutoff for income should be something low like Income under $50k or so. GM isn’t wrong that they are being penalized for investing in the tech and producing cars early, but the playing field should be leveled by not having

Bullshit. This story is specifically about a local in state buy. The taxes and title fees are simple. This is simple lazy slimy bullshit.

This is a great response, but you earned my star and admiration for the Blade quote.

I like it.

New England it’s between $2.40 and $2.85.

You don’t need anywhere near the weight of the vehicle to pull it. If your car is 3000lb, you only need 3000lb if you are lifting it straight into the air. To load a trailer you need a few hundred pounds, most likely that 750lb is more than adequate.

I was behind a new Soul with temp plates yesterday on my bike. It was smoking badly and smelled terrible. Guess that guy won the lottery.

Reading comprehension must not be your thing. Give it another try, and see that I asked why someone from Europe would be interested in a Harley, not that they are or are not. Maybe it’ll be more clear on a second read through.

Too bad. I’ve got to say, though, why would anyone outside of the US want to buy a Harley? Here, I get it, ‘Murica and all, but objectively Harleys are not competitive with, well, anything else being made. Not in terms of price, performance, fit and finish (how do they make a transmission that bad exactly.), nothing.

I have a Surron in addition to a Ktm 300, KLX 140, and Africa Twin. It’s nice. Not great, not a dirt bike replacement, but fun. Suspension and handling is nothing like a dirt bike, it’s about the same size as a KLX140 physically but only about 100lb. The suspension doesn’t really absorb things you ride over like a

And? So this specific problem is with the EV component. You know what else charges the 12v from a high voltage EV pack? Every Toyota hybrid. This is written as if it’s just EVs that have teething problems. That’s not an accurate statement.

You could have just written “New cars sometimes have problems.” Nothing you wrote is inherent to EVs. Things break, recalls happen, Ford and VW aren’t strangers to thing like that with any of their vehicles.

That shifter is great. I drove a friend’s and while it looks weird, it’s right there next to the wheel and has a great feel. After that drive I decided that the shifter is the best part of the car.

Whoa. I’ve never said this about a recent Camaro before, but that looks great.

You add a whole bunch of needless complexity, weight and drag by putting it in between the motor and the wheels instead of the single speed setup that all production EVe have. Aka, make the car worse and more expensive. You won’t see it in a production car because it makes no sense with an electric  motor.

Like you said, “nobody cares”.
