When someone says “I bought a CPO”, what they are really saying is that they overpaid for a used car. Your car isn’t CPO. It’s used, and you paid an extra however much for a warranty. If the warranty would pay out more on average than what you paid for it, the price would have been higher. You would be better off…

These things are ridiculous. My buddy has a 10k deposit on one since August 2019 and isn’t scheduled to to be delivered until the end of February. His contract is for a couple grand over sticker. 

Wow. $118k in payments on something you don’t own at the end. Incredible. Even if we take out the Tesla that’s still $100k when you figure fees and money put down at inception. Pretty incredible depreciation.
