Can we get a poll going and see who cares?

You speak the truth. My 14 year old Sequoia is on a year old frame. Thanks Toyota!
Raph, this would have been an enjoyable read if your pictures hadn’t been taken by throwing the magazine on the floor 6ft away before pulling out a flip phone To take them. Seriously, what the fuck? Great carpet and all but maybe we could have actually seen the Corvair Ad you claimed to have seen.
Yeah, easy to change too. My fenders were good but the lower corners of the windshield frame had a good amount of surface rust. Only way to get it was to pull the fenders, it’s about 10min a side.
My project last winter was fixing up a $500 2001 325xi 5 speed wagon just like this aside from being in far worse shape. I really enjoyed that car perfect size, drive well, comfortable and was a winter beast on Blizzaks. Easy and fun to work on too, and parts were reasonable with some shopping around.
Heathen. There is only one true path, and it is following Akio Toyoda. Merry Toyotathon to you all.
I thought the same until last Nov 30 when someone used my debit card number to clean out a few thousand dollars from my bank account, on my birthday of all days. USAA was great about reversing the charges, but it was still a few days before that money was back in there and conveniently was the next day was the first…
Or they read the site that they are currently commenting on, but yeah.
Been saving that witty response since you saw it on the news? Good for you. Well done.
I like the Ford. I’m thinking about buying one when they come out. I’ve also test driven the 3 and S, both times going in expecting to buy a car and leaving disappointed in the quality of the product. Why do I like this, aside from the name?
Agreed, and the LBJ is so easy to swap on these there is no reason not to do it yourself. Camelback Toyota had the best price on the parts when I did it last winter.
I MUST HAVE THAT WAGON!
How does this have so few stars? It is utterly brilliant.
Having both, I couldn’t disagree more. When I drive my EV it’s a pain to go outside of the 70mi range because the chargers are scattered, maybe they’ll be broken, maybe the 1 or 2 plugs will be taken, maybe it’ll be owned by a company that doesn’t allow outside use. Charging is stressful when it is outside my garage.…
I see Boxsters for 6-8k, 911s for 12-15k all the time. There’s no shortage of affordable used Porsches.
Found the dealer. You’re right, they can and they should. In turn we can tell them to fuck off and buy elsewhere. I appreciate places with ADM stickers, it makes it easy to know who the shitty dealers are.
Dear VW, I’m on my 4th GTI. I’ve also had 2 TDIs. 4 of those were bought brand new. If this it the new direction for VW interiors, you can fuck off.
I’m an airline pilot. We tend to have epic commutes. My longest for 2 years was from IA to VA, about 1400mi. I’d drive 20mi to the airport then fly to Denver, Chicago, Minneapolis or Detroit And on to DC. If I was lucky I could get to Dulles where I worked, if not, DCA then catch a train and a bus to Dulles. Best…
That mesh cover has worked great for a few years for me now. It’s not hot at all even in triple digits and bright sun.
Agreed. I love my 2018 GTI but wish it wasn’t the crew cab. Didn’t have an option sadly.
