My son and I drove up and watched it in person today. Amazing event, those trucks were unreal.

I can't adequately express my sadness at #2. I rolled my new Jeep when it had 621 miles on it, so I feel your pain. Mine wasn't totaled out, though.

Well done. I read it in the voice from the movie.

I've had Jeeps my whole life, and off roaded in this area for just as long. My wife had started stealing my Subaru Outback because she didn't like driving her G35 in the snow, leaving me with my barely streetable 97 Wrangler. It's top was very leaky, weak heater, soft doors, truly miserable in the winter, but a beast

Look at my avatar. That is my 4 day old, 621 mile 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon on its side. 13k in damage. Once we climbed out, the first thing out of my friend's mouth was "That'll buff out." I didn't hit him, I laughed and said thanks, sorry I almost killed you. It's not worth being an ass, even in bad

Love it. I've had multiple NA Miatas through the years, this is the first newer one that I really like. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be in my quarters.

I wish you had included a pic of the bike with a rider on it. You mention over and over the feet forward position and adjustable backrest, it would have been nice to see this in action.

Back in the early 80s they would wave, and often hold up Playboy centerfolds in the windows for the other guys.

Beautiful. My father flew F4s with the 57th FIS out of Keflavik Iceland back in the early 80s and intercepted Bears on a daily basis. He's got some amazing pictures from those days.

Flawless. I've had many such cars.

Sorry, I'm a bit bee-hind this morning. Didn't mean to sting along this conversation.

This is why buzzed driving is so dangerous.

Ouch. That stings.

Awesome. I have always wanted one of these. But at that price, the guy is hitting the pipe extra hard. You can't look at cars simply based on price, you have to look at what else that price would buy, and $55k will buy a lot. How about a brand new STI and any number of other nice used Toyota trucks? Used 911? Heck,

I thought I was the only one! My feeling is that if it's not BMW with the stock halos, get rid of it. They are all terrible.

You have a problem with them using a former trim package name for a new vehicle? Really? I can understand Cherokee (slightly), but you're being defensive of an option package? All it did was add stripes, rocker guards and other small stuff. Renegade is no more legendary than Islander or Modern Warfare.

Last year I went to the NY auto show and my wife and I talked to one of the (gorgeous) women in the Subaru booth about the Outback. I was blown away, she knew everything, nothing like a salesman. I own a 2011, and she was familiar with it able to show us every improvement, even down to what specific changes they made

Not true at all. My 2011 Outback 2.5 CVT gets 27MPG in regular driving with about 30% of that highway, and it is a huge wagon. Long highway drives see it get around 30. Heck, even towing a 3500lb trailer from IA to VA last year I got 19mpg.
