Why would the NFL, for example, cut Netflix or another streaming service in on the “rights” to sporting events, rather than just running them on NFL.com?

The Decision was so weird. I wasn’t a big fan of how that played out, making a media circus of it.

It didn’t look all that dysfunctional. The Wiz defense on the Celtics subsequent inbound looked like a way bigger mess — almost thought Gortat and Morris were gonna get into it, Wall ran across the court away from his man to reposition Gortat, just a mess.

I actually generally like Simmons (though I do have fun clowning him), but it’s a weird tweet to be like “yeah I want him to take that shot” AFTER he made the shot. It’s not awful or terrible and it doesn’t mean anything in the grand scheme of things but it’s a damn odd tweet.

I obviously wanted a different result and yeah, the Wiz looked pretty unfocused and bad at basketball, but I still haven’t seen anything of the Celtics in Washington - not these playoffs, not the regular season - that suggests they’re going to roll into DC on Friday and suddenly dominate on the road here.
