Charlotte's Light Rail... just kidding it's only one line :-(

"I have 275K miles on my 14 year old TDI that uses unit injection instead of common rail." Sorry, in my mind Unit Injection = PD/Pumpe Düse while the ALH is VE/VerteilerPumpe.. Hope you have some bosio nozzles in there for the lols. :)

Having spent considerable time in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur department of France (and a few outings in Monaco) I've noticed there is a correlation between the license plate and the car. Monaco/Swisss/UAE plates = super car, Belgian/Luxembourg plates = Diesel Range Rover or BMW/Audi wagon. French: 06 = renault

I think the interwebs has a tendency to be very dramatic. Your BEW (or BRM?) powered tdi had for a while an OMG widespread replaced your camshaft immediately scare. It's the 10-20% of the people who actually experience the problem make their way to the forums and continually bitch about it.

Just bought this 335d M-sport and couldn't be happier. Cruise around town in the mid 20 mpgs, get high 30s on the highway and it goes like stink when le k26 pushes 26.8PSI into le moteur (un-tuned)

Jason, Like many people said: North Carolina has a great car culture and driving roads. For instance, when was the last time you saw a 959 in the wild? If you are bored and want to feel better about your move, check out underground racing or eurowise on youtube. both right here in Charlotte, NC. Welcome to this great

This vid would make you think they were driving an mr2

Having worked at a place that stretched tires and aggressively lowered cars for several years I can tell you i've never seen a tire damaged by stretching. Traditionally camber wear will get them, or someone who isn't careful and rips the tire bead by mounting them sans lube. Being more of a functional car guy myself

agreed, I love the a8

My xi on summer tires seems to be doing fine in Charlotte, NC

The french are great at burning cars. this is how I found my e30 one morning(the car behind caught fire)
