+1 on this comment about Amazon’s cross-reference.
Funny story: I was doing the water pump / timing belt on my NA Miata a couple summers ago, and was going to replace the crankshaft & camshaft seals (along with a bunch of other parts) as recommended by most. I decided to go with the Timken seals as they were

Try paying for multiple vehicles all at the same time. “You want me to pay HOW much for WHY?! How about you go fuck yourself, how about that.”

I can confirm the 3 hatch is a good DD. 6-spd, 2.0l engine. Cross shopped it against Hyundai/KIA, Honda Fit, Honda Civic Hatch etc. Got an outstanding deal at 0%.

So did my parents but back then when we would pile into the car for sporting events like baseball practice or soccer and track meets we all didn’t have to be legally belted in like we do now.

Part of that is that car seats are bigger these days, especially with the rear facing seats. My 3 hatchback is problematic with this. I have to jack the front passenger seat almost all the way forward with the rear facing infant seat, rendering it useless if I am transporting an adult with legs.

The ideal world would give the USA both the mondeo estate and the current generation 6 wagon. I would have purchased the latter over my 3 hatch 10 out of 10 times.

Totally agree. Never came across so many assholes out there on Harley’s that think the noise they make are a gift to mankind.

One of my few experiences with ordering auto parts from Amazon involved oil and air filters which they said “fits your 2002 E320.” Well, I started on an oil change in said E320 and... neither part fit. I had to return them, and while they did take them back I had to pay for shipping on the returns.

+1. Amazon is also gunning for RockAuto, but I doubt RockAuto will go under. Their prices are cheaper than Amazon in some cases, their selection is actually better on OE parts while Amazon carries some OEM, and RockAuto’s customer service matches Amazon.

Awesome! How did you get on the magnet? Literally just yesterday I finished a car I recently bought, pointed out to my wife the latest batch of magnets I’d stuck on my toolbox and said I should send in a pic.

ALL THE PARTS YOUR CAR WILL EVER NEED.. ROCKAUTO

That’s a real mic drop! That fiesta picture of the interior reminds me why (other than the “seats” in back) I would not buy a modern Ford (other than Mustang or F150).

David is a good man, a better man then most... that is good Jeep Karma right there.

It dates back to when society was way more class conscious than it is today. GM had Chevrolet for the working class, Pontiac for the lower middle class, Oldsmobile for the middle of the middle class, Buick for the upper middle class, and Cadillac for the upper class. Having the right badge on your car was an important

Is it IHS Markit, or do you work for Nissan? ‘Cuz if you work for Nissan, that’s seriously exciting to me, otherwise it’s just conjecture.

A used Tesla Roadster is going for $50,000 to $80,000. You really think this publicity is worth less than that?

In the 80's, Corvettes wore brown pants like this.

Get an uglier 4runner with a V8 instead

It is a bad Photoshop.
