Go after collectibles early.  Navigating the map to find them will give you a good handle on the web-swinging controls, and the suit powers you unlock along the way will help you through some of the tougher combat.

I haven’t quite gotten that good yet but I’ve definitely been doing pretty well flying through the city. So far that’s really been one of the most enjoyable things about the game. Combat is hit or miss...sometimes I do great, sometimes I get overwhelmed and start to mess up pretty badly.

It’s not actually bricking systems, it’s just shutting them down as if the power cable had been pulled, and the system needs to be reset in safe mode and have the database rebuilt. It still sucks that it’s happening to people, but it’s not as bad as the initial reports were made out to be and I’m avoiding it until

Yeah, I love how this game really makes you feel like Spider-Man figuring out his powers at the start and by the end of the game, you’ll be a web-swinging/Spider-combat master. So satisfying as I improved from slamming into every building to being able to cross the entire map without ever losing momentum or touching

I want to pick up DMCV, but with The Division 2 coming next week I can’t justify it right now, so I’ll wait a little while and pick up later.

I’d been playing Anthem and having a great time, but with the PS4 crash bug going around (which I luckily haven’t experienced) I don’t want to chance it and just decided to take

Woo improvement! There were definitely still times when I’d get stuck in a mob and some other guy would swoop in from off screen and paste me. Especially in the DLC. But when it works, it really works!

Continuing with Spider-Man. I don’t have much time to play these days so I’m only getting a few hours a week in but I think I’m finally getting the hang of it. Until I get my ass kicked the next time, anyway.

Yeah sorry nope. I don’t buy Steam games anymore, but if I did, approving shit like this would be enough to put me over the edge to stop doing it. Get your pseudo-Libertarian fake sociopath bullshit out of here you creepy freaks. Anyone who had a hand in making this game should have it follow them around like a

Nothing will replace Melee.

If Ubi can overhaul Assassins Creed and inject new life and hook new players, then the same could be done for Far Cry. But one thing above all, FC needs to shift from being a yearly thing to every other year, much like they have done for AC. I think 5 and ND would have been both better received if they started giving

Oh, perfect, I can finally play Seaman comfortably.

They’re just called “flood barriers”, and you can build them around any city with coastal tiles in the late game to mitigate the damage from rising sea levels. Sometimes it’s only a tile or two, but sometimes it’ll encircle an entire island and look like a badass fortress.

Ya but how does that help next quarters profits?

Oh this just keeps getting more entertaining.

I distinctly remember the mom vomiting insects on me in VR and then saying, “Okay, that’s enough of this game tonight.”

Farcry 5 and New Dawn could be pretty cool if it controlled well, took place in the far future, got rid of crafting, had more weapons, had interesting weapons, had a better skill tree, had better gunplay, other stuff.

I wasn’t big on Watch Dogs 2. Most of the characters were pretty dull and the story is pretty meh as well. An improvement over 1 definitely, but I wouldn’t say it calls for a 3rd game. However I do agree with AC: Odyssey. It’s a fantastic game.

Oh no, what will the game streaming community ever do without...checks notes...professional mask wearer/iPod play button pusher Deadmouse. It will be ruined.

Sound Shapes death mode levels, which were clearly designed by a fucking sociopath who hated gamers. For those unfamiliar with the Sisyphean designs of these nightmares, they were single screen, Super Meatboy-ish levels where a single hit would kill you and you had to collect a set amount of nodes within a very small
