cheers for this review, been looking for someone who wasn’t biased in a way that they seem like they only went to shit all over it online. this is a very fair review, i’m gonna have to go check it out. i love popcorn flicks because i don’t have to think about much.

MGSV has the best gameplay (not story) in the series. It’s the only one I genuinely want to replay for non-nostalgic reasons. 

I don’t know, man. I guess it’s just my preference. Less heroes feels like more precision and responsibility is carried by each individual. At least that’s how my games pan out (mileage may vary, I’m not very good)

fwiw the gameplay is better than ever despite all the winging. i just don’t spend money because the new microtrans system is a literal joke. 1/1/3 5v5 is just better for the game.

I know it’s like... really long overdue and stuff but the transition to $70 games has me largely just not buying games anymore. Even when I have a lot of money it just feels like (well, is right now) a fucking lot of money.

I think it’s going to be wildly successful because it’s a too-big-to-fail situation. Unfortunately, $50,000,000 is not even a slap on the wrist or a tickle of the foot to these bastards nor the media who hawks them. Now they have Microsoft wealth, they’re rich beyond comprehension. That’s not to say I’m not glad you’re reporting on this, but I’ve become so jaded to this shit happening in the games…

It’s gamer comfort food but the bulk of their marginal revenue is from microtransactions which we have yet to see numbers on. 

Sleeping Dogs is the best open world game there is. 

I think they need to let it die, yes. I decided to let it die [for myself] and I played every day. That being said, I understand playing further for social reasons. I do not for the life of me understand spending money on it, however.

Riot doesn’t disrespect its customers to the extent Blizzard does OW fans.
