Also the fact that this is a repeat event makes the sting worse, not more tolerable as the tweets suggest. The fact that this already happened and nothing was sustainably learned is pathetic.

The consumer always gets the short end of the stick, often times shorter than game developers who make a more livable wage than

PC gamers have every reason to be particularly upset. The current course is pay $70 to get completed fucked in the ass by the industry with the most broken version of every game.

Last of Us, Jedi Survivor and Redfall releasing in barely working condition for full price was pathetic. The timing was comedically bad.

I think it’s hard for gamers to accept that, for the most part, Arkane themselves dropped the ball. It happens, developers aren’t perfect. Blaming Microsoft is easy, and sure they could have canceled or delayed—but they already did delay, and this is what we got.

The project seems to have never had a clear direction

I could care less about Breath of the Wild: Things are Now Blue edition. It actually kind of pisses me off that they’re sequeling. The overlap is not as extensive as you make it sound. Nintendo is a walled garden. I couldn’t be less interested.

It’s pretty obvious now why Kaplan left, I think they canned the majority of it and are probably working on something skeletal and tied to a separate season.

Imagine thinking the notably unhinged people were “the trans community”— like as a whole,  and not Tucker Carlson’s army of violent zealots and Trump’s brigades of brainwashed bigots. That’s some seriously twisted logic from this thread.

this is the take

It’s already a relatively short and easy game, this would have made things boring for me. Still waiting on the Mouse Ashley skin which I would gladly play the game again for.

Great list, Claire! Mine is quite similar We have HL2/WoW and a few others in common. I also automatically install Heroes of the Storm (because it’s my most played game) and Chivalry 2 because it’s hilarious.

Goodness no, that seems very stress inducing

This article is in pretty bad taste. And that’s why I like it, keep it up. I haven’t read something this interesting here in a while here. I remember telling my mother I felt bad that I had... been aroused by a moment in one of the 90's tomb raiders because I got turned on when Lara died. I asked her if I was a freak.

I’m confused about why people still watch MTV, to be honest

Yeah that’s probably true, ever since my 30's I’m more of a stay home and do some games kinda person.

The only thing here is hours of entertainment per dollar. I know that games *technically* should be inflated even more than $79.99, but I can’t afford that for twelve or less hours, no matter how great the experience is.

Games as a service allows me to login, kill some things, maybe talk to some people on my friends

Yeah but what does this say about me?

I don’t use Overwatch skins. You cannot see your character while you play the game with only a few exceptions. I probably would if it was a third person game.

The footage of the BF/CoD tyle stuff was absolutely incredible. It’s all there to be the best set of mod tools released since DICE put out SDKs in the aughts.

It would be cool if they had an out-of-game browser for people to select a game they wanted to play. The current system appears a bit confusing to newcomers

It’s a too big to fail like No Man’s Sky and Sony money. Fortunately for my gametime hours, I fucking adore this game and always have.

Even better conspiracy: ActiBlizz is diluting the IP on purpose for a momentary drop in popularity so the U.S./FTC lets Microsoft buy them by their deadline at the end of the year.

Part of deal when Microsoft acquired ZeniMax was that they could fulfil any existing publishing and development contracts so members of the ZeniMax subsidiary in particular would be the primary earners here. (hopefully Id and Panic Button too, they’re good devs). That’s a lot of words for Elder Scrolls: Blades,
