Can’t quite say but in other games, the more players added to a “raid” (in the mmo genre) the more difficult things become to balance. So either that or netcode / cpu load issues? I’d love to hear an answer to this too. 

As someone who frequently engaged the community and game, Lost Ark was the most mismanaged MMO I’ve seen run by a major game publisher. I am profoundly disappointed that Amazon still sees fit to try to make, and publish, games.

What’s even sadder is this is Blizzard’s flagship “competitive esports” game. I’d imagine the OWL is just bleeding money and they’ll cancel it just like the HGC.

This is the best news I’ve heard all week. I’m so happy for those folks. I’ve always loved their work. They truly knew how to port games in an ocean of shitty half assed handoffs—Vicarious Visions was the one I’d look for in that next game coming to the system I had.

The industry needed this and VV/ATVI Albany…
