Conversely, don’t bring it back because it’s a series that is so consistently mistreated that it only really has two or three genuinely good games.

It’s one of those companies like Tencent that is basically corporate Cthulu so many layers removed from the people who run it you can’t lob criticism without experiencing an overwhelming sense of dread that it doesn’t really matter anymore.
I do. I care. Dozens of us care. Infinity Ward year is typically the best year for us.
But they’re ceasing the annual release model in favor of a live service one, so not gonna be the case.
I’d love to checkout these games (and this mod) on my PC, it’s a great gaming PC... but
Such a goddamn shame how expensive the PC ports of these games are, and the EGS exclusivity. I sometimes forget they’ve ever been ported.
The modding community would be so much more robust if they also used Steam and had competitive…
...and I’ve loved all of them (annual PC ones), I’m a very simple creature.
I’m really trying to make myself excited for OW2 all the time, I just can’t. I can’t at all get into Disney feeling of it all. I really enjoyed Overwatch for about a year but it didn’t really do enough to set itself apart. I’ve been watching a lot of OW2 PVP just hoping that the PVE component will be interesting,…
I enjoyed an FPS that didn’t display KDA actually. It was a bit less toxic and I could be bad and get away with it. :~) This is something Kaplan was thoroughly against, and I understand why, but if they want to do an e-sport (Dear blizzard, OW will never be a serious esport, you didn’t even change the game engine)…
That’s funny I made a Cormac McCarthy reference concerning this game in a post further down. It truly is that level of grit where you don’t even know if it’s tragedy it’s just... well doom. Dread and doom.
Still a bloody wonderful game all around, theatrical Naughty Dog stuff. It seems no matter how sloppy their writing gets the visuals pull me back in.
I fucking loved The Last of us Part 2, it’s just really really really tragic. It’s the most tragic story I’ve ever experienced in a video game. It is by design meant to make you feel shittier after each play session. But I wrote a lot of crit about it and it stayed in my mind to make up for it.
Yeah but Ellie is super cute you know, and you have to play games where you save the traditionally cute girl. Because video game logic.
Ellie, Joel, Abby, Tommy all the mainstays of the story, they’re actually all terrible people and mass murderers. I think the first two hours of The Last of Us gave me an idea of how…
Always has been.
Always has been.
Why Destiny 2; a co-op game, keeps nerfing it’s guns.
It’s pretty funny and cool, yeah
Because despite being content light, it is still somehow interesting and unafraid to have fun than nearly all of it’s competitors.
I had no idea... omg. Thank you for this link.
Came here to say this, they are completely fucking ruined by the plastic goo. What the hell were they thinking.
It’s a battle royale. If WZ is a royale with the Gulag feature and Apex is a royale with the revival beacons. It actually sounds like my favorite version of the “genre” altogether. I’m stoked, as it stands Infinite feels very content light, pulling for 343 here--this game deserves more players.
You sure about that subtitle? I mean realllly sure?
