It’s The 100 all over gain

Wxatly my thoughts, personally i hate period set shows and movies, and even though this is classed as sci-fi and the likes of GOT was fantasy they are set in times that look Medeival so no thanks.,

Yep!

I’ll probably check it out, but I mostly agree with you . We’ve had so many of these. Unless you’re providing something that makes it different, like Into the Badlands, or with a cool twist, like Horizon Zero Dawn, I’m pretty bored of this type of thing.

Could be worse. Could be a brand-new series of Star Trek: Discovery (or How We Can Shoehorn Some More Modern Pop-Psychology Lingo Into Distant-Future Dialogue This Week!)

For me, I was also discouraged by the way it seemed like they were setting up 22 as having a passion for teaching and being a teacher, but then just sorta dropped the ball at the end in a ham-fisted rush to end the movie

“What was 22's spark anyway? For me, I was also discouraged by the way it seemed like they were setting up 22 as having a passion for teaching and being a teacher...”

I have a 52 minute long video on my channel related to star wars.. it contained 2.2 (two point two.. as in less than 3) seconds of John Williams score from star wars. That alone got the video flagged and all ad revenue went to sony music... for 2.2 seconds of music in a nearly 1 hr long video. Youtube is complete

2020.

I don’t think it will take a big chunk out of theater attendance there are always going to be people who prefer the big screen over the one in their home. I happen to prefer in home viewing over the big screen. Where I live in Chicago the cost of going to the movies has gotten crazy expensive with the cost of tickets,

It’s actually not a sound bar but a single speaker from my old DOS compatible Macintosh computer. By it’s very nature it doesn’t cheer, boo, fart, sneeze, cough, scratch its balls under the belt of its sweat pants and put its hand on mine, on my armrest, it also doesn’t cry or go to the bathroom, and ask me to get out

As someone who lives 8 hours from a theater, yep. I haven’t been to one since Heath Ledger’s joker graced the screen. Bring on the at home movies, my consumer grade 70" 4k display for $500 and my $200 soundbar blow any theater experience out of the water.

This will undoubtedly impact the movie industry, but without Max being on Roku it's still a non starter for a lot of people. Also, do you really want to watch movies like WW 1984 and Dune at home on your consumer grade tv and speakers for the first time?

So they’re going to have to figure out how to compress FOUR books into a single sixth season?

That would be a good thing. I’m not trying to knock blockbusters, but budgets have gotten out of control, and the average summer tentpole movie has become a generic, bloated mess that suffers from trying to appeal to everyone.

This might be the dumbest fucking thing I’ve ever heard. Maybe you can tax the companies who employ those who work from home, since they are saving money by not having to provide as much office space, office supplies, technology (network bandwidth), etc.

I....did not enjoy this episode, for a few different reasons...

1. The rope trick. Really? A rope? A helmet full of advanced tech and you couldn’t see the three marauders directly in front of you setting a trap? I know it’s a nitpick, but I hate it when media does this kind of thing. Here’s your badass main character

I too can create something so badly optimized that it can’t execute smoothly...

Disney will make a killing off of Mulan. $30 is still significantly cheaper than taking the family to the theater just in ticket prices and a complete steal when you consider the absolutely stupid prices movie theaters charge for food and beverages.

I agree with everything except the part where you say you liked it. Any five or ten minutes from the film was good enough, but it never built to anything, and I was checking my phone throughout without feeling like I’d missed a thing. Really, it felt like the first act of a movie stretched to 90 minutes. I’m surprised
