@214w: Yes, I never liked, or even understood Dollhouse. It was boring, and with a premise that I found it not interesting. I mean, why would I want to watch someone prostitute herself? Just because it's in a scifi setting it doesn't make it inspiring.

@Ayepecks: Yup, agreed. FF was the better show than the "bad" ones listed. But still not good enough.

@pokerwraith: Actually, JJ Abrams had nothing to do with LOST after the pilot. So I don't think your criticism on LOST is correct. LOST was a very, very good show in the beginning. The sourness happened because the remaining writers, Cuse and Lindelof, didn't see the whole picture of what they were presenting as

@djscruffy: Here's the difference though.

@SterlingArcher: Actually, I hate both, especially Supernatural. They feel contrived and small, even if what they try to show is big and affects all the population. Seeing it from the eyes of 4 or 5 people is so limiting for me that I can't begin to explain it.

@cortexiphansession: The reason why I dislike the religious ending on BSG, while as you correctly noted the theme was present during the whole series, was because at the end no one from the whole cast got a clue that it was just aliens toying them (as it was insinuated). If at least 1-2 characters got the heads up,

@SupaChupacabra: Well, if that's true then there is no reason to have a TV in the first place then. I canceled cable last month, but maybe I should sell my TV too.

@RC: Today's audiences are not as gullible and as uneducated as they were in the '60s. When I hear on ST:TOS about some guy who threatens the universe, I cringe. They should have said their galaxy, or more accurate, their quadrant. But audiences would not understand the distinction, neither did the writers from what I

@Mr_Academic: Exactly. Depending on the channel, some shows can survive at 2 million viewers. Others require 4-5 million.

@Cjay79: I find Fringe to be very so-so. I can't get into its world. It doesn't immerse me.

@cortexiphansession: They both had a religious-based ending, which I hated. Religion and scifi doesn't work for me.

@SterlingArcher: I actually like huge casts. It's one of the reasons why I liked LOST. I like grand stories, so a big cast is needed in that case.

@PlaidNinja: The OP is right. We will never solve the mystery as to why Sanctuary is still on. Maybe it's because it's cheap to make or something, I don't know.

@Meander061: No, LOST was amazing in the beginning. It's the last couple seasons, and especially that ending that destroyed all the magic.

LOVE looks interesting, but the title might push away viewers that otherwise might have looked for more info about it, and eventually watch it. Let's hope it does well in the box office.

@TrueCrime: The Wire has been the best scripted show I've ever seen. There were no plot holes, ever.

@Mr_Academic: As I mentioned in another thread above, Dexter and True Blood are like that. But they are not GRAND shows, as scifi should be in my opinion. For that reason, even season arcs won't be enough for me.

@Deekle: I don't mind unlimited episodes in shows like south park. But for scifi, that has to be philosophical and just plain interesting, and have a concrete storytelling, I need an end.

@Toastie: My husband and I stopped paying for cable last month. And even when we had cable, we didn't have access to these channels.
