I will respectfully disagree. I thought the films from 3 on were outstanding, even just as films. Deathly Hallows Pt 1 is probably my favorite, followed closely by Half Blood Prince.

I agree with your base premise: that identifying what is entertaining is not quite so simple and that over-correcting at the last minute just makes matters worse.
I would add though that sticking with the path that’s been chosen is problematic if that path is terrible or isn’t what it could be. I think there’s strong…
Yes I did. Just because they tried to make it entertaining doesn’t mean they have a clue as to how to pull that off.
Run along Zach Snyder! You’re free now!
Somehow I’m just increasingly convinced that the people running the Warner/DC films just have no idea how to be entertaining.
The most consistent complaint I see going all the way back to Man of Steel is that these movies are boring and muddled.
Which is weird because DC really does know how to make good products just…
That’s the impression I got reading them. The biggest thing was the date. I couldn’t find anything that was earlier than late April, 2016 by which time the race was already over.
If they had shown clear bias in January, that would have been something but I have yet seen it.
I am open to my mind being changed if hard…
I’m still missing how the leak exposes the DNC slanting things in favor of Clinton over Sanders.
That’s makes me feel warm and snuggly inside.
So its actually Ego appearing in Escape from New York, the Thing, and Big Trouble in Littler China?
YES YES A THOUSAND TIMES YES
Also accepted “Big Trouble in Little China.”
Give me a Spider-Man appearance in Daredevil season 3.
Full disclosure I was really hoping Peter Quill’s birthday would line up to be after 1981 so that the story would be Ego shows up on Earth and the first movie he sees is Escape from New York which leads him to model his look on Snake. Thus making Kurt Russel exist as a separate person in the MCU.
The only non main lineup cameo that I want is Spider-Man. There’s no way Spidey can’t cross the Queensboro Bridge.
Ah the always import role of “Hot Girl Patron.” I forgot who played that in The Dark Knight.
OK let’s compare how Snyder and Nolan handle two similar scenes. Let’s say you want your Bruce Wayne to interact with your main female character in a classy, high society setting and discuss that woman’s theft of something from Bruce. What does the scene accomplish and how is it shot?
In the Dark Knight Rises we Bruce…
Frozen in carbonite. Vader’s good side is satisfied by not killing her and his dark side in sentencing her to living death. Until she’s thawed out by Rey and Luke......or Finn by accident.
OH MY GOD! PLEASE LUCASFILM MAKE THIS HAPPEN!
After seeing that hairstyle, I am convinced she could and should play a live action Ahsoka in either one of the Rogue One movies or Episode IX.
That’s pretty awesome.
