Holy schnikes it worked.

That’s an area that could be improved upon. Especially I feel in expanding the concept of emotional intimacy beyond romantic partners by developing strong female and male friendships.

I wasn’t commenting on guides for women. Just that guides directed at men have a problematic element and that it would be healthier if that element was removed.

One good thing that this review brings up is the omnipresence of goal-oriented thinking in male relationship guides. Even if the emphasis is shifted away from obtaining a female person as an object, it can still seek to obtain a relationship as though it were a possession.

Interesting on the questions about Doctor Who’s future. I personally believe that the show, Capaldi, and Coleman are on one of the best rolls in the revived series. The stories have been good, the performances deep but enjoyable, and the effects quite good.

Interesting question. I’m not sure. I do think it needs to have a biblical quality to it. After all frogs and locusts were considered plagues even if they didn’t necessarily kill anybody. Perhaps it has to seem wrathful and omnipresent?
