At one point, we had both a VW Passat and a GTI.  While we loved the driving dynamics of both cars, the quality was not good at all.  For example, the window lifter on the passenger side of my GTI broke, was replaced, and then broke again!  The Passat had to be retired well before 100k miles when our mechanic told us

Someone like me would seem to be the primary target for HD.  I used to ride motorcycles, I’m now 51, and I have the resources to spend on a motorcycle.  I am not, however, an idiot.  How could I possibly justify spending that much on a short range electric motorcycle?

I’m driving a v60 Polestar, and loving it. So I’m one of the few that put my money where my mouth is in actually buying a wagon!  My wife just picked up an s60 that’s denim blue, and I have to say that it looks good, though the colour choices otherwise is kind of grim.

Tesla gets kudos for being on the cutting edge of technology and pushing us into the EV age. I suspect, however, that the Volvo/Polestar effort will result in better quality and safer cars than the Teslas. We just bought a 2019 S60 -- I suspect that it will be our last ICE.  I drive a V60 polestar with the last of

I’m in my early 50's.  My parents bought only American cars for several decades.  During the ‘70's and ‘80's those cars were complete junk (Ford Pinto and Ford Fairmont).  Then they switched to Honda and they’ve never looked back.  Needless to say, I won’t buy GM, Ford, or any other American brand because I’m part of

Volvo v60 Polestar. It’s a station wagon so you can carry passengers, dogs, and luggage all at the same time. It’s a Polestar so it’s got ohlins shocks, Pilot SuperSports tires, and plenty of horsepower. The styling is understated.

very well written and researched article. It helps when a reporter objectively analyzes the boasts of manufacturers to keep them honest.

My wife parked at the end of my mom’s driveway. My mom pulled out of the garaged and hit my wife’s parked car (T-bone). My mom to this day believes that it was my wife’s fault for parking in the “wrong place.” You can’t make this stuff up.

Volvo v60 Polestar. You can take the money that you save to pay for the tires that you’ll run through. What’s not to love? It’s a Volvo, so it’s safe. The go fast parts are almost all hidden. The bodywork is subtle so not even the police know what it is. Incredible handling.
