That’s how the car raced. Cigarette advertising was not legal on race cars in Germany. Strangely enough Germany is one of, if not, the only EU nation which still allows cigarette billboards.

The entire Ford GT racing program is an example on how to take one of the most joyous things in the world and suck all the fun out of it. Can’t wait until they leave and A-M returns to IMSA.
