What “fantasy” novels are you reading?

Actually it’s pretty much universally agreed that the Egyptians did not use mass numbers of slaves to construct the pyramids.  I’d assume there were some present, but recent evidence is pretty strong that the workers on the pyramids were paid laborers

This gives precisely zero insight into ancient engineering. I haven’t seen any ancient monument with stones remotely shaped like this. Some of the Meso-American cultures come closest. But the Great Pyramid is made of squared off blocks, not exactly great for balancing.

Probably the worst advice ever given to parents. It’s why many of us feel guilty and force ourselves to eat when we are no longer hungry, even as portion sizes have ballooned.  Eat slow, stop when you no longer feel hungry (which lags when you are actually full, extra reason to eat slow) and learn to love leftovers.

I’m pretty sure my dad’s Lebaron had seats like that.  As hot and cheesy as they were, velour meant you weren’t sliding anywhere.  Plus both seats went all the way back.
