I really wish I got to see an alternate reality where the recession didn’t hit Japan and all of the bubble era ambitions came to fruition. We would’ve seen an MkV Supra decades earlier, development of rotary engines, and all kinds of oddball stuff. Instead we got decontended Camrys
I am more happy than words can possibly describe. Time to sell my liver!
God I’m never letting go of my manual 3 series if this is the future of BMW
A lot of them got exported to Russia, the caucus states and developed-ish countries in Africa. The ride height and Toyota drivetrain bits make them appealing to consumers who want a bit of luxury but have to deal with trash roads and trash fuel.
Whoa there buddy, there can only be so much change per decade
I mean, I am one of you considering I was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine and my parents fled the area after the Soviet Union collapsed. Great job assuming though, asshole
10/10 solid rhymes. You looking for a producer?
I’m with Shonnie on this. Most people know how to pronounce Chi-town, you don’t have to re-spell it for us. Regardless of whether Shy in your context comes from the German spelling for idiot, from the Shakespearean connotation for Shylock or to clarify how to pronounce Chi-town (really?), it carries strong anti-Jewish …
Can we not use antisemitic epithets when describing corruption please?
I heavily mourned the loss of the non-M 3 series. Aside from wrong-wheel-drive though, this thing is perfect. Subtle, understated styling, independent suspension all around and a proven drivetrain with a robust aftermarket. Can’t see what’s there not to love about it.
I wonder how this compares to the turbo 3 in the Fiesta? I bet these would be a hoot to drive in autocross or something - slow car fast mantra to the max. What’s the suspension setup like?
This has been in the back of my mind since the Supra came out. My biggest worry is probably the dashboard UI. Since it isn’t even programmed to display anything other than automatic, you may end up having to swap clusters entirely
I want to make one thing very clear - Marisa Tomei is still stunning. Apologies if my take did not convey that.
I assume because in the UK the customers for this car are at the age where the TVR and Quattro were their dream cars growing up, and this ad shows how in context a modern Jeep will shit all over your childhood dreams while carrying kids from your first two marriages in tow. But, like Marisa Tomei, some memories for…
I'll take mine in Detroit shit stain brown with an LS swap
Ooof that looks ideal man. I’ve never had a chance to drive an E46 before, but I would love to drive a facelift ZHP.
E46 ZHP is really what epitomizes the ethos of the sports sedan.
Best FWD handling car yada yada, seems like a perfect candidate for a rwd/Miata subframe swap to do what lotus should’ve done in the first place.
