+1 for puffin rock! some friends found it and introduced us to it. the show is so chill, it’s the best for early mornings when you just need to turn something on for younger kids to give yourself some wakeup time. it’s also REALLY cute to listen to 2 year olds say the name Oona.

so how do you handle an almost 7 year old whose bedtime is 8pm but regularly doesn’t fall asleep untill 11pm and wakes up at 8am? I mean, i guess 9 hours is enough but dang, those 3 hours between 8-11 are just a constant stream of ‘i’m uncomfortable’ ‘i’m thirsty’ ‘i’m hungry’ ‘can you sing me a song?’ ‘can you tell

eating before any workout makes me want to vomit

shoot, once i find a vaccinated sitter, i’ll pay them dang near anything for a few hours out.

consider adding GymRun to this list too. I moved from Progression to GymRun since Progression hasn’t been updated since 2017. GymRun has a free tier, payment tier, then subscription tiers depending on what you want. It has companion apps for WearOS and Tizen, and I believe they are developing a Garmin app as well.

That's how I feel. Switching from chrome to edge is good and all, but firefox gives me way better battery life on PC and Android.

i like doing bicep curls shirtless in front of my wife. i’m not buff or anything like that and i hate using my resistance bands, but i’ve lose 26 lbs since may and i like the way she looks at me.

the biggest deterrent is that Google Fi is not much of a value in the MVNO space. If I’m somewhat conservative with my data usage, I easily use less than 2gb. If I’m not paying attention to data usage at all, I use around 4gb.

my daughter has a cooked butt crack. according to the internet it’s called an asymmetrical gluteal cleft. she doesn’t have any of the bad symptoms to accompany it. its just funny.

haha my wife wants nothing to do with my workouts, but i love it when she occasionally does. my wife in workout clothes is 🔥

I went with this set after seeing it recommended on a handful of websites.

Beth, have you ever used resistance bands? Lifehacker has some stuff about them, but it seems like a decent time to revisit them in light of actual weights being sold out/marked up like crazy. I bought a reasonably priced set off Amazon but always feel like I’m about to kill myself with them.

my wife and i have had fantastic luck with MVNOs, generally speaking. Neither of us a huge data users. She’s home most days with the kids, and I work somewhere with wifi. $40/month for both of us with unlimited TnT and 2GB LTE each with Verizon coverage. Pix Wireless is the name of the service, we’ve been very pleased

ah the dreaded networking. i usually spend most of my non-work time with my wife and daughters so not a ton of outside interaction. will definitely keep this in mind though!

cool man, thanks for sharing!

wow, i have to admit i didn’t expect the c300s/fs7. are you shooting much in 4k?

i now feel a personal responsibility to comment on all the video producer HWW posts.

we have almost the same work desk setup! I mentioned this on the other post, but i’m also a video editor so these posts are double fun for me to follow.

david, i think you were the first staff writer who ever replied to one of my comments so you’re my favorite writer here. i’m also a techie without the funds, so i live vicariously through you. really enjoy your work and i’m glad you’re here!
