@B1gJ4k3: I believe you can watch the premiere episode only. I ran into that with Season 4, didn't check with Season 5. Regardless, lookup casttv.com if you want to watch Dexter without waiting for the DVDs. I've watched the entire 5th season that way.

In my opinion, the first thing you need to do is figure out just what you want to watch. I've been using Boxee for a couple years now and it works really well for some things, but I've never felt like it could be my main interface. However, it could be perfect for you, depending on what you intend to watch.

Provided they dramatically increase the number of streaming videos available, I'd definitely consider going streaming only. In fact, the access to streaming videos is why I signed up in the first place. However, as a number of the movies I've wanted to see are only available on DVD currently, this actually annoys me

@klick73: I think they were really referring to clutter, not minimalism, because I'd agree with you.

NOW you tell me.

@AngryPenguin: You do realize that you can access most CBS shows via Boxee, right? They usually only have a couple episodes posted, but I've watched a few episodes I've missed this way without problem. Boxee will also attach to a few History Channel episodes as well, at least I know I've seen Pawn Stars through

I cut the cable umbilical when I moved into my new house two years ago and there really hasn't been a desire to move back.

@Jakm777: The linked article clearly states, "The energy used by the building will be procured through the purchase of carbon credits. The center’s zero carbon claims may be difficult to defend as no on-site energy production is available, but the project’s rigorous low-energy design will prove to be a key to its

"In an age where architect and design firms are just starting to apply to Apple's design principles to the building of homes, Steve Jobs has gone and designed the iPhone of houses."

Incorporating due to "freelancer's vanity" seems like an ill advised reason to do so, however, the comment about liability would seem to be a wise consideration. So personally, I'd say not only talk to your accountant, but your lawyer. It could be in your best interests to incorporate in order isolate personal

After reading the Patently Apple article, it sounds like Apple is just trying to find a way to make carbon fiber composites more impact resistant and aesthetically pleasing (to Apple) for use in products.

So you're calling me fat, eh? I see how it is.

@Luziphir: They are easy enough to change.

@cc: While I think you make a good point about Hulu not being a true cable replacement, you can access FX shows (I've watched Always Sunny in Philadelphia on Hulu) and USA shows (Burn Notice, Psych, White Collar for me) on Hulu. I'm not sure why Hulu Plus wouldn't offer these (I haven't taken the time to check if

unless hulu plus removed the delay in availability of some programs (burn notice, white collar, psych are all on 8 day delays, so you're always a week behind) AND removed the commercials, I don't see the point.

@Sean Harrington: Dexter's wife is/was Rita. His sister is Deb. Although in real life, Michael C. Hall (Dexter) is married to Jennifer Carpenter (Deb), which makes for an odd fake brother/sister relationship... Regardless, Jennifer/Deb is not a blond, so I think you are referring to Rita played by the ever so

I have no doubt the height of your ceiling can impact one's impression or feelings within a space, but it's also worth noting that's not the ONLY thing that can affect someone.

@Aaron Gee: Thanks for pointing out this error. I've been looking for a good, simple todo list but wasn't seeing how this was cross-platform beyond the web.

@Elak Swindell: These look like renderings to me, not pictures. So it seems to be the result of a lazy 3D modeler or an overly idealistic designer.
