I would never pay for self driving software but you also have to see the business side of things. When I pay $15k to go from a M340i to an M3, I get that hardware for life and BMW doesn’t have to ever put more money into that hardware. When you buy driver’s assistance software, the company has to continuously re-map

Realistically people had to know this was coming, no? I mean, did we really think electric cars were going to make car ownership cheaper? They will just look for other ways to get your money.

You really aren’t supposed to shift your hands while track driving (really other than parking lot maneuvers you shouldn’t shuffle or reposition your hands from 9 and 3). The only argument for shuffle steering on the street is that if the airbags deploy while your hands are crossed, you’ll end up punching yourself in

not really.  the 5th gen cars really just looked like the sketch that kid did years and years ago.  i cant remember his name anymore but some guy did a retro camaro design around 2005 that ended up looking pretty damn close to what gm ended up making in 2010. kris horton that was his name.

Mail me 20 bucks now, then.

The C8 is the first good-looking Corvette made since the C2.

Honesty best answer here is to just keep the Vette. The 1LT is a great value and it outperforms everything in the same price bracket, even used.

This is the 2021 version of replying “First” to an article.

More people off road their jeeps ( yes I know this is about broncos but similar enough) than sports car owners track day their cars yet there is so much hate just aimed in just one direction.

Before anyone skips past how he justified the quality of the lower priced filters and oil he is recommending and just dogs on the prospect of using cheaper oil and filters, please remember the US is increasingly seeing it’s citizens at or slightly above poverty level, so this is a nice tip to save a few dollars that

You can still find people who think it’s safer to drive without your seatbelt buckled because “you want to be thrown clear in an accident.”

I have a ‘21 Silverado and I love it. It does everything I need it to do. Is the bulbous center stack the most attractive thing ever? Maybe not, but it’s extremely functional. All the dials, buttons, etc are in perfect positions.

I think you need a therapist...

These are the exact fleet vehicle generation I was talking about in my post, I didn’t know the chassis code

Any GMT-800 series truck. They look great (except for the cat-eye Silverados IMO, but some people love those too). They are the perfect combination of modern power and capability, without being way too big and stupidly tall like they all are now. They are very simple to work on, tremendously durable and incredibly

The Power Wagon is still the truckiest truck that ever trucking trucked.

A set of OEM SC3 tires runs about $1200.  If you’re running enough track days to go through 3 sets of tires in a year, money isn’t an issue for you.

The biggest issue is looks; it’s plainly a caricature of the 5th generation and lacks any charisma whatsoever. The only good view is the rear three-quarter, and even then it still looks scrunched up.

OMG no visibility is just a meme now. I didn’t daily mine, but never had a problem with visibility, parking or any other aspect of driving it.
