This thing is probably going to get as good or better fuel economy than any German V8 SUV, but people will whine about this being wasteful because it’s American.

So why not just apply taxes to the gas itself, so as a result, the more you use the more you pay in taxes.

In this case it seems like it would be

I assume “Apocalypse Manufacturing” is based out of Florida?

Keep in mind that nothing is going to just “bolt together,” and will likely require significant fabrication to work.

Unless you’re a professional fabricator/builder, I don’t think building a similar car is possible for anywhere near $100k. I would estimate that parts alone would approach $100k.

Where does this fit in the mix

The locals are literally the ones that would be making the decision to allow it to go forward.

If he says “yes,” then whats the big issue?

It’s ultimately the cities decision though, right? So isn’t the city the one that is succumbing to greed by accepting money to dismantle the bridge?

Thank! I’ll give them a call. I’ve spoken with both Capital and Abel, and both told me that they weren’t taking deposits until they knew what their allocation would be. My understanding is that the dealerships don’t actually know those numbers yet.

What dealership is your order in at?? The ones local to me aren’t keeping lists, and the largest one near me said getting one at MSRP would be unlikely. I’ll be giving a few a call today....

I’ll be at the Chevy dealership the literal MOMENT I can get a Z07 package car for MSRP. Incredible car. Totally exceeding my expectations.

If we’re going on aesthetics alone, Tesla Model X. Hear me out.

Blandest Camaro goes to 4th gen by a mile. Respectfully disagree with your opinion on 5th gen styling - personally I love it. It’s one of the very few cars that looks identical to the original concept.

I’ll gladly take that bet

How about a gen 6 ZL1 w/ 10 speed auto?

I suspect that pricing will be less than Raptors. Also, the DSSV suspension is more than just marketing mumbo-jumbo. That stuff is actually pretty awesome.

I hear all the complaints that this thing isn’t badass enough to compete with the Raptor and the TRX and don’t care. I’ve been patiently shopping and waiting for the right truck and I know this is it. I’ll be picking one of these up as soon as I possibly can.

You’re right about one thing - it isn’t that hard. A Cayman GT4 weighs 2,955. A 991 GT3 weigh 3,153. An SS 1LE weights 3,414. There is less than 500 lbs difference between the Camaro and the GT4, and less than 300 lbs between the Camaro and the GT3. Add in differences in driver weight, and the cars aren’t really
