What kind of Jalop question is this?

Power wasnt the only thing the rx8 lacked. But the ability to add power. Stuck in the pergatory of being too finicky for the normal crowd, not able to take the twist the other rotary folk want, had it been designed with a turbo in mind or just more torque, this car could have enjoyed a better time in the light

The Honda S2000. That uber awesome F20 in the AP1 or (F22 was AP2) was kind of a pooch in normal driving.

Not only the Fiero, but every other could-have-been sports car that GM handicapped because of the overly sensitive Corvette stans.

The Lexus CT 200h. It had cool sporty looks, and yet managed to be considerably slower (in my mind) than the gen 3. Prius with which it shared its underpinnings and mechanicals. Merging onto the highway in one was not confidence-inspiring.

If you can make black marks on a straight from the time you turn out of a corner until the braking point of the next turn, then you have enough horsepower.”

Needed not only more power, but more reliable power...

I know it’s been beaten forever, however the Toyota 86/BRZ:

What an obnoxious kind of hate to bring to the table. The original Countach was basically a rolling bedroom poster - looking cool was more or less the only reason it existed. Lamborghinis as a whole are rarely driven and mostly serve to be flashy status symbols to their owners. This one looks cool and is a flashy

I’m currently waiting for my second LS7 rebuild to finish up, I use my 09 Z06 for time attack. Both rebuilds were caused by rod bearings failing on the OE Titanium rods. I’m switching over to steel now, reduction in high-rpm horsepower be damned.

Is the “rotating assembly” the crankshaft and everything that’s attached to it?  Asking for a friend...

Is that a fact? Please elaborate.

The question is what’s best, not what’s most esoteric

I am not an LS guy either, but engines don't choose their fans, and I have to be honest.

Best for what? Is cost an object?

I know it’s kind of a cliche at this point, I know I’m sort of sick of it as the go-to for ambitious engine swaps, but...

You can go ahead and close the thread.

GM LS-series.

So is this story on Jalopnik because he likes cars you don’t so that’s the justification? This sure is a stretch and not a welcome one. Yes he is a scumbag but this is not car news or car related.

Ok, maybe I’m a bit paranoid but letting a third party back up your device and giving them your encryption key? A fairly unknown third party with an unknown privacy track record?
