Anyone that immediately writes this thing off as being poorly engineered, cheap, or ugly without any consideration to the level of performance offered at the price point is unquestionably not interested in performance. It really can’t be stated enough how insane of a value this is.

The NSX wasn’t ever quite bargain performance... I think they started at around $80k even back then. This thing is in a much cheaper segment, while offering performance faaaar surpassing anything even remotely close in price.

This is the most bang for buck performance I’ve ever seen in a new car with a warranty. Literally changing the segment.

C1 corvettes raced competitively in Le Mans. Full stop. Since then they’ve been raced competitively in all levels of motorsport.

Corvettes have been extremely competitive race cars since 1953. Racing is absolutely part of the heritage. The Corvette logo is literally crossed checkered flags.

Be real though - why is a wagon better than an SUV. A wagon is basically an SUV with less utility.

In my experience, Corvettes and Camaros are orders of magnitude more reliable for track events than any comparable performance cars.
