Isn’t “Masterpiece” just the trim level? The car looks like its actually called the Mohave.

better for off road

You are as square as your avatar and username imply.

This $500 Billion Lawsuit Against Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman Is Inspiring Fucking Stupid

100%

Have you ever run a race like this before? The splits are based on either: volunteers manually recording your bib number as you run; or are based on a timing chip that you hang someplace on your person, and which is supposed to be captured by an electronic system setup by the organizers.

How often does 800 mph ground speed in a commercial jet actually happen.

To be fair, everything* they do seems to work pretty well from a performance standpoint. The exception being the heatsoak issues in the C7 Z06, which were ultimately corrected for the ZL1 and ZR1.

That 10 speed is a great transmission - especially for a primarily street driven car. Personally, I’d go for the 10 speed for the standard ZL1, but would stick with a manual for the 1LE.

And the 2014 Z/28 punched way above it’s weight class in terms of performance as well.  The notion that “muscle cars don’t handle” is pretty much completely irrelevant at this point.

there are literally dozens of us

Why is it sad when a Camaro and a Mustang are great performance values?

Is the hood carbon fiber? If so, then those hood pins aren’t redundant.

Sequential gearboxes are pretty fun too, in their own way.  My preference of gearbox varies based on the car it’s going in.  Something with greater than 650 hp is not particularly “chill” to drive with a manual - the dual clutch probably (IMO) provides a more enjoyable driving experience.

Whats it tow?

I really don’t understand why the big 3 aren’t publicly discussing an electric SUV. They have the benefit of their existing factories and infrastructure to make this happen relatively easily.

Just part of business. It’s ultimately cheaper and more efficient for any large company to protect themselves from litigation on the front end by building a robust patent portfolio that covers everything they do, rather than risking going to court. Court is generally more expensive whether your win or lose.

“Design optimization” is actually a good way of looking at this. Optimizations and improvements in existing fields are reasons why people file patents - to cover their specific improvements in design.

Interestingly enough, none of the patents cited above are design patent.  All utility.

You’re right - strut tower braces in general have been covered a million times over.
