OH. MY. GOD. I’m at work but that shit is happening at my house TONIGHT. Like, me and the boy sitting around just doing Peppermint patty shots.

It was the only one I ever went to, my college didn’t have Greek organizations so I went while I was visiting a friend at Alabama.

I once went to a frat party where they did that- they had drink bottles with pourers and poured vodka and apple juice into your mouth and then topped it with whipped cream.

So, I clicked on this explicitly because I was like “SANDRA DEE IS STILL ALIVE/ DOING A LIFESTYLE SHOW!? Will it include an episdode on dressing like Gidget? Will she teach me how to surf? YES PLEASE TAKE MY MONEY.” Turns out I cannot read before my first cup of coffee.

We almost had to take my pit back because she wouldn’t let anyone into the house/yard, until we figured out that she’s just SUPER overprotective, and now we walk her out to gate, make her sit, and then go out and hug whoever is trying to come in so that she knows it’s a friend. Completely fixed her

So, also get one from a shelter with a home visit period- and don’t be afraid to take the dog back if it’s not a fit.

That was my mom too. She always told me that I should call if I was in any trouble at all because my safety and well-being was the most important thing. But she also didn’t hesitate to come over to friend’s house one night and tear my ass out of there because I was an hour late for curfew. Love + boundaries.

Wait, but how can the state mandate what YOU send you kid for lunch? I get them saying “Hey, school lunches must have x, y, and z” but how can they regulate the food you send in for a packed lunch?

Help me please- can you explain clap back vs. shade vs. read? I know they’re all different but the only one I really understand is shade.

Yes she was being an asshole, but the cop was way out of line. He has handcuffs and leg shackles at his disposal- fucking use them. There’s no reason to slam someone’s face into the ground.

Especially police- they can literally handcuff her and shackle her legs if she’s being violent. There’s absolutely no reason to beat the shit out of her.

I agree with this- but I also think that trans voices are so important to the conversation of gender politics.

So the Captain Marvel movie has Carol Danvers, and she’s been super-heroing for a while, so I’m really hoping they make her at least 30s- which would also set up a Ms. Marvel with Kamala Khan which I would actually die if they made it.

OK though- but did you click over to the link? The title on the article is “Tyga, two children go to church for Easter.”

Yeah, I read that right after I commented (which I had read before and forgotten), but that relationship just struck me much harder this around- not sure why.

Do you watch a lot of action movies? I think a real love for Hot Fuzz can only come from a true love of action movies in all their cheesy glory.

My entire debate team used to watch this at the beginning of each year to indoctrinate the newbies to a team-held belief that utilitarianism is ALWAYS a terrible fucking ethical argument.

My boyfriend and I were watching it last night and one thing that I never noticed is the arc of Danny and Nicholas’ relationship. They built their friendship in exactly the same way a romantic comedy builds the relationship between the leads- they start out not really liking each other, fall in love (or friendship), a

^^This! Comedy is really fucking hard and most comedic actors are actually incredible (If you’ve never seen Will Ferrell in Everything Must Go then you are missing out). Adam Sandler is awesome when he’s not doing his own movies (if that made any sense).

Orange is the New Black season 3 in June!!!
