@KillerBee: iProductName existed before Apple just next to the eWebService names, the fact that Apple still uses it is kinda lame since it's so 10 years ago

@Tycho Vhargon: Actually, doubling the render time on these movies is that bad. It's the only difference between 2D and 3D in animation since techincally it is as easy as you say.

@Tycho Vhargon: It's actually something Google mentioned, building their next data center somewhere cold.

This reminds me of an evening with kevin smith, he had a great story about prince that explained how strange he really is.

@gabrielsmiles: I thought he gave up on that and changed it back to prince

@ara: Yes, you can do it just like in Android, make it an advanced setting so users don't do it by mistake, or just warn when a user is about to install an unsigned app.

@senshikaze: yea, I guess in that sense we're fortunate, the record companies not so much...

@senshikaze: itunes is great? it's the worse piece of software I ever installed on my windows PC.

@Captain K'nuckles: in the other story coming out of this google execs visit to Israel, they mentioned that the music player will see major improvements in 3.0

@jaredthelobster: Most people who by Apple products don't really know there's an issue, just like they don't know a new iphone comes out every June.

@jblues: they probably won't release it before the 30 day period is over, they will issue the update in a few weeks, and then it will be too late to return your phone.

I half expected them to fix this by changing the bar display.

@Arsenal6: I had an iphone for the last two years, a winmo before that and now I'm on Android.

@skt.smth: I actually paid 5$ @ Fry's in sunnyvale, CA a couple of years ago, so it's not that expensive for short cables.

@dennis636223: They lost the law suit, MS never bought 10% shares, when Jobs went back to Apple it was in financial trouble and he asked his friend (yes, his friend) Gates to help out.

@dennis636223: 160,000 Android phones are activated every day. Sure, it's not the 1.7 mil in 3 days the iphone 4 sold after launch, but they only have one launch a year, there are new Android phones coming out all the time.

@ACEACEACE: I think the saying 'all new is good news' doesn't apply to bad products. I don't think Toyota was happy will all the news they received in the last year and I'm sure Apple isn't happy with this type of news either.

They actually admit to their design mistake, placing the antenna in the bottom. It's much more likely a user will cover the sides towards the bottom of the phone than the area directly on the top.

@phiyuku: I know someone named Guy Pines (it's pronounced penis, and not like the trees)
