"Shit! Shit! They don't want 3 hours! Start editing!"
How about Dan Fielding from Night Court? Often a pretty reprehensible guy, but he won John Larroquette five Emmy awards! Granted he was often shown to have better qualities deep down, but some of that was due to just being on TV for so long.
"What is with you people?!?" he says somehow sympathetically despite just murdering some old man.
I remember being impressed by Hugh Laurie also briefly having his American character House briefly speak in a bad British accent.
It also ignored the apparent fact that despite that letter, many women actually were working in animation at Disney in the era.
I have heard that as well. There is apparently very little evidence from people who knew Disney that the anti-semitism charge was accurate, and much of it is traced back to a book or two.
Agreed. It's brought up as if he was the only famous person who put forth an image that wasn't entirely as bright and sunny as the real thing. As if hosting those old TV shows he should have been mean and surly on camera.
Watched a very interesting documentary about him recently. The anti-union stuff did make him look pretty bad, but he saw that conflict as a betrayal from his workers.
Bob's Burgers also seems to have an interesting recurring theme of strange, awkward, and seemingly "sad" people eventually finding love with someone who gets them, even if they're a bit older.
I've been a fan of G.I. Joe and Transformers all along, but I found that this kind of series just isn't for me. I understand what Scioli is going for I guess, but I still like these properties in more "traditional" stories. This is a weird mash-up that comes off as both Joe and TF parody, mixed with a Kirby homage.
So, has anyone else wondered if the tainted grain plot will connect to Oleg's food monitoring storyline?
I don't think I was as surprised by Martha as some, because me and my fellow viewer were wondering if we'd see Martha at some point.
Poor Oleg. Who would've thought back when he showed up he would eventually become such a likable, sympathetic character. "Hey, I'm the cool new KGB guy. How YOU doin', Nina?"
Yeah, I have to agree with Batman Forever. So many of the actors in it are "everywhere in the '90s" actors. Jim Carrey dominates with Tommy Lee Jones playing a smaller role in one of 1,000 movies he seemed to be in back then. Chris O'Donnell, Nicole Kidman… so very 1990s.
Considering Paige's current predicament, she would just have to be failing all her classes, wouldn't she? I don't care how smart and dedicated and mature she may be. There's no way she's focusing on studying for a test or the like. TV shows seem to forget that in childhood and teenagehood, school is a massive part of…
Elizabeth is obviously our "true believer", but she may not be being completely unrealistic. She is of the mind that they are doing what they do out of patriotism for their country. That doesn't mean she thinks the USSR is a paradise and believes all Soviet propaganda. In any country being a soldier doesn't mean you…
Philip sure is a real dick sometimes, ain't he? Real fan of the black comedy.
Is it really necessary to get mad at Allen for a poorly chosen Nazi comment, given that everyone seems to call everyone opposed to them a Nazi these days?
So… how are these Russians involved in Home Improvement?
