Can you see the TV from your toilet?

Wha?

That does make me sad to hear the hatred for Homer, given that I watched the show from the very beginning. Back when Homer was a flawed guy, with some terrible tendencies, many because of his lack of intelligence, but was deep down a pretty good person. Patty and Selma were shown to be terrible to him mostly out of

Glenn Beck has always been a drama queen. I caught the show now and then on the radio. Usually on lunch breaks or whatever. His long monologues are like dramatic speeches with moments of silence to let the gravity of his words sink in for you, the listener. Ugh.

I think you're thinking that logically Ezra surviving would be difficult to make sense of. That doesn't mean though that the LFL folks are going to follow through with it. I honestly just can see them actually including the death of Ezra at the end of this "family" series. Kanan, sure. But Ezra? I don't know. Maybe

Yes, I feel like some people may have missed the fact that when Maul just suggested knowing what Obi-Wan was on Tatooine for, he ignited his lightsaber. Obviously deciding, "OK, Luke's too important so now I have to kill this guy."

Nice! Wicked pissah!

People don't like that she visited the country of an enemy our military was fighting while talking about terrible things our soldiers were doing. For some, of course, talking about those things would be considered offensive, but it was the actually visiting North Vietnam that people saw as a step too far.

I do agree with that. The biggest thing I hate about politics is the hypocrisy. Hating what the opposition does, then justifying it when your side does it. Makes me sick.

And that was terrible, too. Even worse, probably. But I am tired of the "Well, it was okay when they did it argument." If it's wrong, it's wrong. I hate the "we're going to do the same because you said it was all right." In other words, people have now justified the other terrible thing by retaliating with the same.

The problem here is the reveal. She teased it in basically a ratings-baiting stunt. And it was completely pointless. I already KNOW what you think about Trump's ties to Russia. That's nothing new. What a waste of time.

Trump's thin skinned idiocy aside, I don't like anyone doing some kind of "kill the president" shtick. No matter who the target is.

Yes, but that was about someone else. Trump's okay with that. Just leave him alone.

As a big fan of "The Andy Griffith Show" and Barney Fife, I must say I cringe whenever I see him on "Three's Company."

That could be, too. :)

Pretty much something that's happened for years, with every race/ethnic group. "Pardon me, sir. But I am perfectly able to play this role as a butler with proper grammar. Must I say, 'Sho nuff, suh.?"

It does seem that in many cases, as you say, the default MO is stereotypes unless the show is purposely made to not be about stereotypes. In other words, "Look at our progressive new series where Koreans are never subjecting to 'dog-eating' jokes! But we had to hire a Korean writer and star to do it."

As I recall that was a strange era of House that he was on. They dumped a big batch of new characters on the show, and they were whittled down over a season or two. The way he left was still shocking, but lots of characters were expendable.

It just greatly depends on which types of liberal things you're talking about. They've made great strides in many areas, but the various Asian nationalities continue to be a minority people seem willing to make fun of. It's amazing how often even a seemingly progressive show still can include wacky, bowing Japanese

Ah yes, Mark Addy's forays into American television and films. "Listen to me American accent! You can't tell I'm masking a British accent at all!"
