Running Scared does work way better than it should considering it stars a comedian and a dancer.

Yeah, sounds like someone who isn't really that familiar with the Highlander franchise. Really, the only movie that is any good in that franchise is the first one, with the worst being the second movie which completely abandons and rewrites the entire premise. The TV show works better than anything beyond movie #1.
I realize that on some level they're making fun of gung-ho, all courage and no brains kind of action movie characters, but my biggest problem with this movie is getting past the unbearably cartoonish Marines in the scenes that first introduce them.
Lunch Lady Land!
A small price to pay for fortune and fame.
I hope the people on this show, with their "Hillary is guaranteed to win" cold open, won't be too shocked when we end up with President Trump. And I say that as someone who would only vote for Trump if I was forced to at gunpoint.
She did a lot better on SNL than some hosts have. She wasn't great, but good enough.
A lot of comedy is less ad libbed than you think. They're obviously going for the unrehearsed feel, but riffing independently probably doesn't work great on a show like this. It's the same thing with stand up comedy. It all seems like a sort of rambling conversation, but many comedians plan every detail.
Lorne is a weird guy (if it's okay to blame the casting decisions all on him. He is often very goof at recognizing talent, but then makes some baffling choices about getting rid of people. Maybe there's something behind the scenes going on we don't know. Killam's loss is baffling considering how much work he did. But…
It's Weeknd.
I completely forgot Silverman was on the show. But I believe she was one of those people on very briefly and didn't make much of an impact. Right at the end of the Farley/Sandler era, if I recall.
I still did enjoy the thought of the Scooby Gang just shooting some guy. "But I don't think he even really broke any laws!"
Rock still had some pretty solid stuff on there. I loved Nat X.
Gotta admit it's a pretty obvious joke to make.
A rich guy got his accountants to figure out all the legal tax loopholes to use to his advantage? Shocking.
A lot of the teenage and younger boys lately are wearing their hair longer in a more early 70s/80s style, anyway.
Hamm also made a very brief Angie Tribeca appearance. Anybody watching that show? It's so dumb I actually enjoy it.
I have never heard of this band or this song, but that song is indeed shitty. I know others have said this, too. But is this song even popular enough to hate?
I started to waver pretty early when the discussion of Joseph Campbell's mythology rules started. Seems like a film school paper. Why is a movie director teaching me the proper way to grieve. I figured it out…
Unfortunately, someone in another comment section posted a list of TV reviews The AV Club is no longer doing, including these shows. There's also three more of my shows on the list. They just lost a lot of visits from me.
