Has the answer to "Will they or won't they?" ever actually been "No?"

Let's face it. Ferris Bueller is a fun movie when you're young. But chances are as you get older you're going to start thinking about everyone else's side of things. And getting old and cynical, you may just decide Ferris should shut up and go to school. Damn kids!

No but maybe if he actually allowed Peck to know something about their machine instead of being all "Hey, I'm not letting the man tell me what to do," the thing wouldn't have been shut off.

Wasn't the TV version played by Jennifer Aniston. Both actresses were named Jennifer, though one got a much less noticeable nose job.

I'm always more concerned about Rooney's apparent willingness to ignore potential child abuse. He watches Sloan nearly make out with her "father" and just comments, "So that's how it is in their family," or whatever.

Though the implication is that he is pulling that shit all the time.

That is somewhat true, but his very first scene tells it all. Venkman, ever the rebel, immediately dislikes Peck simply because he is an authority figure with the audacity to question the unprecedented, power-sucking, potentially dangerous machine. Though Peck is certainly a little snotty about it.

Yeah, I suppose that sounded pretty bullshitty, too.

Those chimpanzee sketches are gold!

(Or sometimes, college)

OK, then I do stand corrected. Am I allowed to say that on the internet?

True enough. But ya never know with Hollywood. I usually hate finding those parallels where they aren't, but it was hard to not think of the campaign while seeing what was basically an election.

C'mon, Franco, enough with this performance art shit.

I'm not sure how I feel about the episode hinging on a Star Trek / Back to the Future style time travel paradox.

So, I'm way to lazy to read all the comments below, but has anyone yet speculated that the Iron Islands political debate may be a snide reference to Trump and Hillary? Especially if you're a Hillary supporter… A qualified woman is shouted down by a guy who makes big promises that may be hard to deliver (After I talk

I keep telling people that the weiner is not the equivalent of breasts, so that's not needed to make it equal. I'm all for equality, but I'm sorry, there's two (three) female naughty bits, and only one (three?) male. You can show all the male ass you want, but unless the ladies are gonna spread 'em…

Hader's got a Last Man on Earth show? Has Hollywood become so uncreative they're actually rebooting shows that are still on the air?

I think Limitless has the same kind of arrogant lead character that I want to slap.

I was making more fun of it, but that is exactly the problem with this. And Indy is an apt comparison. There is definitely a trend in the past several years where people decided arrogance is not a bad thing. Sports is the greatest example. I suppose there were always athletes celebrating themselves to some extent, but

Executive: "This old MacGyver show looks all right, but I feel like it would be better if the character was smug, arrogant, and asking for a punch in the mouth."
