So… we reboot a series to cash in on the name recognition and nostalgia. Then, we aim it at a completely different audience, who will not recognize the name or have any nostalgia for it. HOLLYWOOD!

There's definitely truth to that, given the "after credits scene" became a staple as a teaser for the next thing. But they also delivered mostly good movies, and definitely movies that made a lot of money. I just find it funny that everyone else is making plans to do the same, even though only one franchise has…
Isn't every other show on ABC female skewed, with that whole Shonda universe I keep hearing about in annoying headlines? Surely, EVERY female-centric show has to be picked up as a series, right?
I still find it amazing how our reviewer will apparently never get over the fact that the show toys with basically two tones. Super serious and unhinged, wacky camp. To me, that is exactly what Batman is. We can have the most serious moments of Batman Begins, but we can also have the over-the-top Joker character and…
The man is delusional.
Yes, yes it is. "Look! It's an almost exact representation of that show I used to like when I was too young to recognize it sucks! Jimmy, you're a genius!"
Slavery. The Trail of Tears. That rap scene. All things that make me ashamed to be a white person.
The collective mind of Hollywood executives is incredible to behold. Marvel Studios makes a giant push for a connected shared-universe series of movies, following the lead of the actual world comic book of comic books. This becomes an amazing success, and everyone decides, "Let's do that."
Tonight's episode, everyone fared much better but the big winner was Louis CK, though I don't get why he was mixed in with the politics/news anchor/authors, but I suspected he would be the smartest one. Writing, producing and directing a TV series has to trump people who just read a teleprompter all day.
I never understood the attraction to Rocky Horror. Aside from young Susan Sarandon in her underwear.
Hasn't been cancelled yet.
I wish I could pinpoint exactly why this style of art aggravates me so… But it may have something to do with that dude's long flowing hair and ponytail. A real guy with hair like that would get on my nerves, too.
Without it being spelled out by the reviewer, I guess I hadn't realized how much the show is turning toward women trying to control their world. If you want to include Sansa taking "command" we're seeing at least three queens rising.
Rickon had like three lines in the whole series and you can't really care too much about him, but I sure am worried about what Ramsey's gonna do to him. Though in his letter he only said he was in a dungeon. And he's not the type to hide what he's up to. I'd say he's somewhat safe for now since he's being used as bait.
Jonathan Pryce gets better all the time on this show. He really does have me wondering now if the High Sparrow is full of shit, or if he's a genuine true believer. He may be a crazy fanatic, but does he really believe it all?
These days we have multiple eyewitness accounts and video evidence of all sort of historical events and people still question facts and invent conspiracies. Imagine if all we had was word-of-mouth for major events.
Tyrion could be a fine Hand of the Queen.
I guess not every scene can be a strong woman taking control.
Doesn't that final scene, though, suggest maybe they aren't even in love with each other at all?
The other big problem I had was that the characters of Switek and Zito from the show were there, but they weren't actually used to lighten up the show like the originals. They even had Herc from The Wire playing one of them, a character who also provided some great comic relief there, and he is wasted.
