I will throw one thing out there in Sandler's favor, though. I think all you hear about him is that he's a really nice guy. And you kind of have to appreciate that one major goal in his movie making is to keep his friends working!

I haven't liked a Sandler movie as much as Happy Gilmore, because as silly as it is, there is a real story. I watched some of Grown-Ups 2 and found it to barely be a movie at all. It seems like a random collection of scenes with no story to hold them together. Only Spade and James seem happy to actually be there.

…and I've also realized she's on the latest season of Silicon Valley.

After years of Star Trek, Back to Future, etc, the "screw history" bit is a groundbreaking science fiction moment, Quantum Leap not withstanding.

I love the insanity of Harry Truman being delivered in a packing crate and smashing his way out. It's such a perfect example of the warped sense of humor of the writers that brought back the head of Nixon in a jar as one of the show's recurring villains. Almost as perfect as the headless corpse of Spiro Agnew.

Yes, like I said up above, Fry is about my age which would mean he was already ten years old by the time the NES came out. And video arcades were still very popular even then. And DK and Pac-Man hung around in the arcades for years.

I was born in '75, too, and my family had Atari. Plus, the '80s was still a grand time for the Video Arcade, no matter what you had at home. It fits Fry perfectly, just as it does me.

Suzanne Cryer of course went on to fame as Seinfeld's "Yadda Yadda" lady.

I think I feel the same way. He's entertaining on the show, but he seems like an arrogant douche.

Yes, that's a lady that loves to curse. And I just love her for it.

I'm one of the people that just isn't interested in the Jake/Amy romantic will they/won't they storyline. But it may just be because I'm turning into an old curmudgeon and I've seen that so many times in TV that it gets on my nerves. And I don't need the romantic subplot in EVERY show on television.

Oh Lord, I had forgotten about the Marriage Ref. What a cluster fuck that was.

It really was so great to see them sitting in a coffee shop, joking back and forth like George and Jerry. It's also obvious in that episode that they worked so well together because they find each other hilarious.

I'm pretty sure when I saw Seinfeld live in Vegas, Barry was his opening act. So, I assume they're somewhat friendly or Jerry at least finds him funny.

In the last episode of Shark Tank, they showed various scenes of "sharks" with their business partners and in one Cuban was wearing a shirt with three commas on it.

Especially early on, they didn't dress Elaine very flatteringly, probably for the sake of the character. They start to reverse that as time went on.

Classy.

It's only a two-parter in reruns.

He even got a little emotional.

Uh, I watched him regularly in the last decade. What was I gonna watch? Leno?
