There are times when I get annoyed when Letterman makes his political views very obvious, partly because I'm more on the conservative side of things. But one reason I really enjoyed him actually get into a yelling argument with Bill O'Reilly; it was one thought I had: "Could you imagine Jay Leno ever doing something

Coldhearted sons of bitches.

It kind of makes me sad that someone would see that sequence and try to argue the logic of it fitting on that small stage. "I hope someone was fired for that! I bet George Lucas was behind that!"

Sheeeit. 3,000+ comments.

And every punch thrown was not a direct hit to the face.

There's talk that something like that could happen as part of a 'Star Wars Land' section for the Disney Hollywood Studios in DW. But that's at least a few years away.

He does show up briefly in at least one old comic book. But you must've known someone was gonna say that.

I always figured it was just their homage to the old Hollywood musicals where some stage act would miraculously give way to some epic scale sequence.

I won't say that it's completely turned me off of the show. Just that while I used to joke about this show, "Just imagine the worst thing that will happen and it probably will," but I'm feeling like there's a point where that just becomes tiresome.

As I've said too many times elsewhere here, I think "shocking" is definitely the wrong thing to say. I felt it was obvious — maybe TOO obvious — what was going to happen there. But many people, including me just didn't want that to happen. Or more precisely, didn't want to watch that scene.

Getting away from that end scene, I think Littlefinger really is fairly transparent in what he wants at least in one respect. He wants his power, yes, but his obsession with Catelyn has transferred on to Sansa instead. And part of his reason to coach her into a stronger person is to make her like her mother. And

Just because people expect the worst to happen doesn't mean they want it to happen.

I really hope they have a sister named Ivana.

And it bothered me, too, that we have to hear the whole thing and listen to Sansa as we fade to the credits.

Also, I think I was also aggravated by the inevitability of it all. I mean, I hate that ever since she was promised to Ramsey my mind kept going back to the question… "When will poor, innocent Sansa be raped?" And then they do it. I know one WANTS to see that, but, y'know, I don't want the show to have that happen.

Yes, I think that is a mistake because all the mental damage was probably already being affected by just seeing Sansa. Then Ramsey forces him to take to Sansa about what THEON did, and then later in another supposedly insulting move he makes him give her away and in doing so makes him say his own name.

The only one silver lining in the final scenes is that it appears young Ramsey's perversions are going to push Theon too far, and maybe kind of "unbreak" his mind. It would be most satisfying if his hidden affection for Sansa and the Starks comes back and he kills Ramsey. That may be too easy, but why not?

Despite all the arguments whether it should have been a scene in the show, the rape scene is just something I didn't want to sit through. I get why it's there I suppose, and it also serves to make sure you hate the villain, but it made me come to one conclusion. I am starting to just get tired of the show that goes on

Yes, he got better and his scene talking to Trudy about getting back together didn't even seem to hint that he was full of crap, or that it wouldn't really work. I'm wondering if we'll get some people complaining that Pete's happy ending was extolling the virtues of rich capitalism instead of condemning it?

I love the complete rejection of the memorable "It will shock you how much it never happened" line.
